When you run programs, you computer heats up naturally. Minecraft takes more processing resources, and laptops are so compact that they heat up pretty quickly, that's why you always hear the fans. Laptops don't have amazing cooling, so ultimately they get super hot.
The only way to slow heating of a laptop would be to lower Minecraft's CPU usage. If it's a constant problem for you, I recommend you upgrade/replace your fan or buy a cooling pad. Also, there may be dust built up inside, and you can try buying a can of compressed air to clean it out.

If you want minecraft to stop heatin u your laptop, I have two suggestions for you:
1. Tell Mojang to make Minecraft command line based. That will probably require 10000% less processing power and take 100% of the fun out of the game for everyone else, or
I am ninja'd far too often.
Indeed.

Then the laptop shouldn't be heating up to the point that it's about to explode and you have to find help on the forums immediately.
