Note: I know, this idea was already suggested, but mine is slightly different. So, please, don't post that this idea was already taken. I don't need to be told.
It's just a small addition to npc villages. It might not be the best idea, but I just want to share it with everyone.
So, I was expanding a npc village on a superflat world when I decided to make a custom house of mine with a graveyard behind. There would be some loot inside the gravekeeper's house and under some graves. I made some screenshots:
I guess it fits pretty well in npc villages...
A Gravekeeper would have a 100% chance to spawn inside.
Content is pretty random. There could have wooden, stone and/or iron shovels, dirt, flowers, gravel and maybe more stuff.
The graves doesn't have to have signs on them.
Content is random here, too. Bones, rotten flesh, and other stuff. I'm not sure about diamonds, emeralds, ect. It's a bit of too easy-to-get valuable stuff. _Rublix_ suggested to make diamonds and emeralds extremely rare and that rotten flesh, bones, iron ingots and gold nugget would be common loot, so this might be a solution. He also suggested that opening graves would make nearby Iron Golems angry and attack you. Quite a good idea, don't you think? The grave loot would be randomly placed, with chances that there will have loot under all graves or no loot at all.
In the above two pictures, the items shown are just there to give a preview of what could be found in the chests under the graves.
That would fit in the ''Pretty Scary Update'', taking it a bit literally...
Seems like a good idea, just the loot seems over powered. The tombs should usually contain rotten flesh, bones and maybe gold nuggets/iron. Extremely rarely a tomb could have emerald and diamonds. Opening a tomb should tick off the iron golems, and have a 50% chance of spawning a skele/zombie. The design fits the village so i like it. the idea from what you posted seems a bit boney though, so if you want you can take my ideas to add to the post, it's fine with me.

I agree with you, the loot is too overpowered, and there should not be a 'gravekeeper loot', just stuff in the tombs. The tombs should be a block of stone with maybe a sign with a name or something, and under the dirt/grass block next to it there should be a chest with a lot rotten flesh and bones, a small chance of 1-4 golden nuggets, very rarely 1-2 emeralds, and extremely rarely, a single diamond.
But it should not spawn a hostile mob, why villagers would keep such a hazard? However, stealing the dead villagers 'body' and goods should make the iron golems angry, and they are very dangerereous, even wih a diamond sword.
Anyway, good idea! Hope it will be added soon!

The loot isn't supposed to contain everything that I've put in it, and I know that diamonds is overpowered. They could just not put diamonds, gold and emeralds. I didn't thought of putting this idea on the forum before putting diamonds & stuff. The Iron Golem tick is a good idea, too!

I added the gravekeeper's loot just because I thought the house was a bit empty. Also, I agree with the monster spawning thing that shouldn't be there!
