I was talking with my sibling about ideas for future Minecraft updates (for Xbox 360) and after reading some of other people's suggestions I decided to give this a try...
An Ender World. Hopefully similar to the PC version! (With Endermen, Ender Dragon, etc.)
Slimes! I heard that they added slimes to the Xbox version, however nobody I know has come across a slime, or even a slimeball... Maybe increase their spawnage?
Golumns! My friend mentioned that in the PC version, you can build an Iron Golumn by taking four pieces of Iron blocks and forming it into a T shape, and then putting a pumpkin/jack-o-lantern on the top (like a head) and it turns into a living creature that kills any intruder that attacks you, like a tamed wolf would. Maybe if you could make different types with different strengths...
More use of Bookshelves? I have never made a single bookshelf before, just due to its lack of use. It just sits there, and when you want to take it back, it breaks and you lose it forever. Maybe some kind a storage added, like storing books for future uses would make me think twice about skipping over the bookshelf in the crafting table...
More mechanisms! If you search up "Tekkit Yogscast" on YouTube, you will be led to a channel that shows numerous videos of 3+ friends (on PC) making a 'Jaffa Cake' Factory using different mechanisms such as an energy condenser, a machine that mines quarries for you, and so many more. It sounds like a lot, but adding these to the game in the future might convince many more people to get it. Parents would think it is a much better option than what kids play nowadays (COD, Battlefield... but don't get me wrong, those are terrific games!)
Boats! Boats should have a usage line that decreases while it is in use to show how long it has until it breaks into planks and sticks. That way I won't randomly fall in the middle of the ocean again!
Potions! I know from online videos that the PC version has potions that you can brew up to enhance health, or prevent yourself from drowning, or even becoming fireproof for a while! These all sound like they would be great additions.
Chicken Farm anyone? Once again, reference to the PC version... They have the ability to breed chickens by throwing eggs on the ground. I think this is a great idea, because it would allow for a larger supply of eggs (for cakes, or just throwing at people!)
Enchanting Tables. Yes. Just yes.
More food! It would be nice to have apples fall off of trees. Or berries on bushes. I can't live off of just bread and porkchops :/
Riches, riches, did I mention riches? Maybe you could add jewels/gems such as emerald, rubies, topaz, amethyst, you know. The good stuff.
Traps! Tripwires, cobwebs... all that.
Cocoa beans! They are to very hard to find! Cookies are almost impossible to make Maybe a specific tree/bush that supports the growth of this wonderful plant?
Redstone! We should seriously be able to put it up walls! It is so difficult and wasteful when we aren't able to >.<
I know this is more than one suggestion, but hey, I am trying to help the creators, not hurt them ^.^
So, uh, why did you suggest stuff already in the game? I don't get this post one bit...
You need to read the unbolded part next to the words. The bolded words are the things we need to add/change. Plus, this is based on the Xbox Version... in case you thought it was PC...
All things that are currently in the PC version will eventually get added to the xbox version. Just stay put and all of these things will be implemented.
I'm assuming you are not very experienced with the PC version. I'm going to fill you in on how some of these features will be implemented and when you could probably expect them for Xbox
The End was introduced in the adventure update, beta 1.8 and full version 1.0. Based on the features currently in the Xbox version you could expect possibly in the next update or the one after that.
Slimes are rare in PC still. I believe in one the adventure update their potential spawn area was increased however.
Iron golems won't be implemented in the Xbox version for a while I'm afraid.
Bookshelves are used to increase the power of enchanting tables in the PC version.
It is unlikely any elements of Tekkit will be available in the Xbox version.
Boats don't take durability damage, so a durability bar won't help. EDIT: Well they do take damage, but they don't in itemized form so I don't see how this would be implemented. In any case it isn't in the PC version.
Potions are also in the adventure update. Probably released along with The End and enchanting.
I would have thought you could hatch chickens already. It isn't a 100% chance that you will get one when you throw an egg.
Enchanting tables are in the adventure update.
More food will probably be in the next update alongside hunger.
'Riches' won't be added.
Tripwires won't be for a while. You do have stuff needed for traps already though, like pressure plates and pistons.
Cocoa beans can be farmed in the latest PC version. So you won't get this for ages yet.
Redstone cannot do this in the PC version so this is unlikely to be added.
