- should be every where
I don't see why.
-No slimes? :sad.gif: wtf
I made this list before slimes were implemented. I would add them if I hadn't abandoned it.
-to many mobs, these would take forever to code
I acknowledge that in the intro. This is a maybe much later sort of idea.
-although you should keep some of them with their own biome
What?
-I live in a mix of biomes so a bunch of mobs would rape my house
It's my stance that biomes should be a LOT bigger.
-some of these biomes do not exist
Yes. The list was made before biomes even existed. I would like to see these biomes implemented.
-Where the **** is hell on this list
Nowhere, because there is no hell biome. The nether isn't included either because it wasn't coded before I abandoned the thread.
overall 5/10

Add dragons? Western ones, not the Wyvern type... (How did you put in Wyverns and not normal dragons?) Chinese Dragon idea can be scratched, not that obsessed with it.
I very much dislike the stereotypical dragon, because it's overused. I like Wyverns much better. More exotic, less commonly used.
I don't really maintain this thread anymore, for all those who were wondering.

We need a original monster. How about a little one block square monster with 8 legs and wings (like a tiny spider centure with wings) that jumps 16 blocks high and glides another 64 blocks. It takes no fall damage its attack is to jump at you from long range. It dose 5 damage but then holds on to you and dose 1 damage per second in-till you you knock it of by doing 3 damage to it then it takes on the skills of a creeper in-till you kill it drops 1-3 eggs then its body explodes like a creeper. Then the crater appears 4 tiny creepers witch explode like gahst fire balls. If killed they all drop 0-2 gunpowder. Next a skeleton riding a spider but that appears in the crater but only once all the mini creepers are dead. This monster has 7 hearts of health so you can snipe it with a bow. Then kill the mini creepers and the spider jockey but the creature can launch one gahst fire ball in its life so you better kill it before it jumps to you or snipes you and destroys your house with its gahst fire ball
is this monster not original is it not terrifying and destructive. Notch if you see this you know you should add something similar cause its cool.. add it please.... come on please... come on...... PUT IT IN THE GAME MAN !!
>:biggrin.gif: Then I can tell you about a great dragon/serpent like mob...
Its the Knucker! Strange name, I know. Simply it is a massive snake with 2 arms and 2 legs. It actually stands upright when eating but stays on all fours to walk/move. Land animal. It is normally supposed to stay near a water well, legend says they come out and eat those that disturb them. I say they can roam around a cave or whatnot, a place with a hole-like appearance that isn't too far above ground. Maybe those shallow caves in flatlands that you can see in Beta?
Life- 15 hearts, not that difficult
Relatively rare. You'd see it around 1-2 times every day, but you'd have to be LOOKING for one.
Attacks- Definitely constriction. Wraps around you and stuns you for maybe a second, damaging you for 2 hearts. (IF THIS IS TOO COMPLEX: Simply hits you with his tail. Does same damage and stunning capability).
A simple bite. 1.5 damage, but is done in quick succession. A fast clicker could break the second bite if they are fast.
I realize that this thread isn't maintained any more, and so unless the OP decides to come back to this I won't bump it any further...
But isn't it hilarious how some of these ideas have ACTUALLY been implemented? Like wolves, for instance. And Slendermen. And the poisonous spiders. Maybe not implemented precisely how they are mentioned here, but... the similarities are uncanny.
Nice job. :smile.gif:

Idea:
Ants have a caste system, soldiers, workers and queens. Workers spawn more frequently and have less health/attack, Soldiers spawn less frequently but are deadlier, and Queens have a lot of health but no attack and spawn other castes. Ants would spawn specifically in a cave system like structure under a gravel-based ant hill.
Next, there would be Termites:
Termites would also have a caste system, but the workers would be non-combat. Termite soldiers would have 2x as much health as an ant soldier, and do 1.5x as much damage, but are slower. Termites would also have huge hardened clay mounds.
