I have thought about the land generation a few days ago and i thought that it is usually bland, that is unless you find an Extreme Hills biome.
My proposal..
What will be added? : A new land type called Dynamic that is well DYNAMIC.
What is this "Dynamic" Map Type? : It is a land type that mainly consists of a "Dynamic Hills" Biome about 50 to 80% of the time
What is this Dynamic hills biome? : it is a biome were the surface is ALWAYES above 80 blocks from bedrock level , And has a max of 200 blocks above bedrock level (This gives 120 blocks for EPIC overhangs) , and emerald ore is one of the most abundant ore.
In normal maps the Dynamic Hills Biome would be about as rare as Mushroom Biomes.
I know mountain biomes, something larger than extrem hills, have been suggested before but it is a good idea. "extrem" hills are not very extrem. They can be kind of small or just a giant Cliff that is like 2 blocks wide, can't build much on that or explore.

I dunno, if you had a lot of hills everywhere wouldn't they lose their impact? I'd favour slider bar options when we make a new map that would allow you to adjust what content & what % of that content would appear on the map. So you could have a very hilly map etc. I do like the idea of massively high mountain ranges tho.

Yea but for the Dynamic map type it is limited to 25%-99.99% (99.99% so that u can actually find sand and water :P)
Pretty good idea. For once, in a long while, I don't really have anything to criticize. As long as there is a toggle for it, I think this is a great idea. +9001.
Or a height multiplier slider. This could go from 25% (64 → 80) to 300% (64 → 256). And being able to slide sea level (just the water level) from 32 to 224.

Yes they will exist but i think they would be a little less as rare as a mushroom biome
Why cant it be? i mean they will only spawn in extream hill biomes why not be abdundant in DYNAMIC biomes?
