In the desert, instead of zombies spawning, mummies would. Mummies look like the usual gauze wrapped zombie that roam the desert, but they have a dangerous move. They use the fishing rod coding to hook you with their gauze and pull you towards them. Also, in the desert temples, there'd be a mummy spawner. They have the same amount of health and deal the same damage as zombies.
Drops Mummies drop rotten flesh and sandy wool. Sandy wool is a beige colored wool that can be used for decoration. You craft sandy wool with sand and wool (Duh).
Interesting idea. This would add a great mob that fits in to Minecraft! I just dont really like the sandy wool idea, i don't know why. I was thinking they could drop gauze strips, and you can craft armor from them?
I think we don't need anymore armor unless it either has a good purpose or belongs to another tier. The sandy wool thing only exists because I A. couldn't figure out a good way to make beige dye and B. to replicate gauze.
Why is everybody bitching about this. Just shut the **** up and ignore this. However, I do support this. This would be cool. A new mob that fits into the game. Most mob suggestions are something that doesn't fit into the game-- like a parrot or something stupid. I support! And like someone said, they should spawn in the desert ruins.

I don't support.
Yeah I was thinking this, just make the zombies in the desert look like mummies...
