I, not having used any of he snapshots, was previously unaware of the changes you've made to emeralds over there a Mojang. Having read the wiki article about them, I was... let's say displeased. You've made emeralds, the key ingrediant of the trading system to rare. I say you return them as they were the moment they turned green.

Gah, why does everyone think you get them from mining? They are not rare, they are only as rare as a village. You are exposed to get emeralds by selling to villigers. The ore is only there justt to be there.

Since you can easily get the gems (and therefore, blocks) by trading with villagers, it only makes sense to Silk Touch the ore, since it'll be far rarer than the gem.
This topic is great but you don't have any information to support your statement, maybe you should give some of your opinions about them other than just saying how they made them too rare. Try giving some ideas on how you would change them.

For your information, the emeralds and the emerald ore spawn was pretty much the same since they were out. They only made some tweaks to the trading. They ARE as they were the moment they turned green.

I haven't even bought MineCraft, I don't have the money...

Emerald ore used to spawn in viens about as rare as diamond, now the spawn as a single block. Sure, there are just as many as before, but you're less likely to find any because they are scattered. You are wrong. Go read the wiki and you'll see just how wrong you are.
Just sell stuff to the villagers to get emeralds.
