i took this idea from ugocraft it is about a mechanism like pistons that if you power it with redstone it will start rotating until something stops it and if you turn off the power it will go back to the original position
something to go with it will be the isolation plate that separates some things that you dont want to move
This is far to complicated. It involves treating groups of blocks like entities (like the door in the video you linked). I see way too many bugs occurring and many other problems from trying to implement this.
