Redstone is one of the most helpful things in Minecraft. It allows you to make lots of logical things suh as traps, clocks, maybe even games! However, because of its usefulness, it might take a while to create the certain thing you want, and it might even take longer because the Redstone Pattern isn't suiting your logic. In other words, when you want to go vertical in your work, you have to make a pattern, that makes it seem longer to complete. So what I'm getting is, I'm suggesting more Redstone features!
For example, in 1.3, Redstone and other things like torches (If I'm correct) can now be placed on Upside-Down Stairs and Slabs.
Vertical Redstone: I'm not sure if this has been already suggested dozens of times. Redstone can be givne the power to go vertically. This takes away those "stair redstone" and making redstone going up much more easier. this will cut much more hassle then making those "redstone stairs." Let's say for example if you want to shoot out a chicken egg from a dispenser, and you were underground. This eliminates "Redstone Stairs" and you can just place redstone vertically to the input and there you go! Much hassle saved, and visuals are nice and good!
Hide-able Redstone Block: I know this has been suggested before. Redstone needs it's own huge block space in order to work. i think it's time to cut that off. There should be a block that can go into the redstone space, and hide it. You can do it with Nether Brick, Stone Brick, Planks, and Bricks. You can craft it like an upside-down Chest Tunic, and you get 4 of the Blocks. Therefore, Visuals can be much improved, and the logic can work as it did before.
Bluestone: Might be a little bit more complicated than usual. It will allow a new entity called Bluestone. Attach Lapis to Redstone in a crafting grid and you get two of the stuff. Place it on the ground, and it appears just like Redstone, only it's blue. Whatever Redstone that connects to it first, connects to it. What's so special about this, is that once it has connected to Redstone, it will not connect to any other redstone that goes toward it. This means that you can have redstone passing through it as it wasn't even there, and the bluestone connects another path of logic, as if the other redstone path wasn't even there. Bluestone is able to connect to each other. But the whole path must be composed of bluestone, redstone torches, or repeaters. This will cut hassle from trying to make a vertical position where it will take up space, especially when you have only two block high logic space.
That's really all that i can think of. I know there are some very smart ways to make this sort of useless, but it's much more easier for people who aren't good at redstone, and like to have better visuals rather than having huge space set aside for little logic. Any suggestions are necessary.
The problem is, bluestone and redstone takes one block, so they can't cross over.
Exactly what i'm trying to make here. Redstone Dust is a smeared substance on a block, and Bluestone is the same as well. Because they're only smears, they should be able to, or I think they should be able to.
Clearing Things Up: yes, but I think that that should be overridden when it comes to redstone and bluestone. If I may guess, then i have your support then?
Vertical redstone has been suggests many times before, and just use redstone torches.
Hideable redstone seems a bit confussing and sure redstone takes up a lot of space but that's only when you make like a redstone computer, basic redstone stuff doesn't tak up much space, so no support on this.
Bluestone, if I am understanding this correctly is like redstone but it does not mix with redstone, is some what of a good idea.
What happened to the rule about only ONE suggestion per thread.. You seem to have 3 here...
Any ways Vertical redstone IS possible using glowstone, and hideable redstone blocks have been suggested MANY times before, just use halfslabs and/or don't make the redstone visible by putting it behind a wall or floor that we all know how to do so well already. As for blue stone, there really is no need. There are ways to do as you are implying, you just have to know redstone better than the next guy.
No support.

Erm, I see your point. But the only reason why I REALLY did this, is mostly to improve visuals then have little bits of Redstone peeping out of the surface, or having to make more space for some logic. So this removes much hassle for making more space, and makes things much easier. Yes there are ways to get around this, but my suggestions make this especially easy for novices who are just learning Redstone Logic.
Yes we could use Slabs. But if you wanted a plain surface, this'll come in handy. Not much of a big reason, but it's worth it.
I appreciate your feedback. And yes, I think I should make the title a bit more "categoric," if you know what I mean.
Lastly, yes, it has been suggested a lot. But it would see very helpful to me, so that's why I made it a suggestion.
Lol, yes, I actually did use the Search Feature. Nothing came up surprisingly. I found that surprising. I think no one actually talked about this for a while, that's why. But to me, H think this could be some help.

Please use the search feature in future.
