Simply put, I think we should have a toggle-able option to render waterfalls and lavafalls flowing into the Void falling down for some distance and then fading out instead of abruptly ending at Y0.
It would be strictly visual, and would not actually affect any sort of entity.
While not affecting alot of people, depending on what you're creating, or what special worldtype you're using, the abrupt ending of waterfalls and lavafalls can be quite ugly. I, for example, play on survival in a Skylands worldtype, where lava and water springs are very frequent(A good example: http://i48.tinypic.com/34fl15t.png).

Curse PremiumAlso, I think that, due to the potential lag, this might be an option tied into the fast vs. fancy graphics option.

Well that's a-given. I just don't like the abrupt ending. I'd prefer that the fall fades out of view, even if it happens quickly.
