ALL THESE THINGS ARE CLOSELY RELATED AND ARE NOT RANDOMLY THROWN TOGETHER.
. My new idea, the 'corruptor' a 2x2x1 block (2 high and 2 long) that can be placed in an ACTIVE nether portal. It will cause all (non-air) blocks within a 35 block radius to slowly become nether-only materials, while in the nether all blocks in a 15 block radius become overworld only blocks.
. Here is the crafting recipe for the corruptor. It needs one soul sand on the bottom middle, two obsidian on the bottom corners, two redstone on the middle sides, a glowstone on the top right corner, a water bucket on the top left corner, nothing in the top middle slot, and an eye of ender in the center. (The eye of ender represents corruption and darkness from the ender realm.) Please post ANY ideas you have (negative ones in a nice way or as contructive criticism), I would love some feedback on this.
. Another idea is the portal minecart!! The portal minecart is a bit like a powered minecart or storage cart, except the block the portal cart uses is the corruptor (which gives it yet another use!). The cart has a 'hook' on the front and back. This is the only cart with hooks on it. A hook allows you to connect carts to the portal cart so that carts in front AND behind it travel with it. When this cart travels through a nether portal, it will take itself and anything inside carts connected to it into the nether. (For example, if you are in the cart behind it and the cart in front of it is a storage cart, the carts, you, and anything in the storage cart will travel into the nether (and to any trolls reading this yes it will travel back to the overworld.))
. The cart must be traveling at least 1 block each 3 seconds to work. You could also make (for example) a line of a powered cart in the back, then a portal cart, an empty cart (for you to ride in), another portal cart, then a storage cart. That way you can have the needed speed to get into and out of the nether, a place for storage (plus a way to get lots of materials in or out), and you can get to the nether and back with ease.
. P.S. This would also allow for amazing rollercoasters that travel through the nether.
Please comment.

Sounds like somebody has had one of their topics closed for having lots of separate unrelated ideas in one topic.
I surprisingly like this idea though...Pretty much just the corrupter idea. I think the recipe needs work or needs a more thorough explanation of the components. I think it could make for some easy growing in the nether area right around the portal which could be helpful at times.

That just sounds like a whole **** ton of stuff randomly thrown together.

well yes, you kinda just explained that exact same thing above.

Overall opinion - you could always just walk into the portal. The nether coaster is the only way this would be used. No support.

This would be a griefer's delight. Not only would they place lava everywhere as they are doing now, but they would also hide these underground, making them even more annoying.
I remember somewhere in the rules about ONE idea per topic. It seems as though you have two here... Also I agree with the above user. Griefer heaven. No support.
how did you know????
It actualy has happened to me many times, even with only two closely related ideas.
He knew because you said: THIS IS ONE IDEA NOT A WHOLE BUNCH THROWN TOGETHER. It was quite obvious. However you still have 2 ideas there.
Also, calm it on the question marks. One question mark is all thats needed.

Yes you could 'just walk into a portal', but with a large chain of chest carts you could carry several inventories worth of stuff with you on one trip, plus, think of how fast you could get from place to place with one of these. You could get in one in the overworld, go into the portal, travel 25 blocks in the nether, and come out another portal and be 400 overworld blocks away, making it useful for connecting far away towns, mines, and the like.
I am back with a new idea for the corruptor. If it is crafted in the ceter of the crafting table with the enderdragon egg above it and endstone everywhere else then it turns the nether portal it is in into an upright end portal. If you break it you get a corruptor and the enderdragon egg back, but not the endstone.
Also if this endercorruptor is used instead of a normal one in a minecart it will travel to the end instead.

*mumbling here, puts away SPAS*
I honestly don't support this because as stated, it looks like a griefing tool.
