How about some real-life catastrophies like tornados, hurricanes, heat waves, tsunamis, earthquakes etc...
Tornaos in the grassland and desert biomes, hurricanes and tsunamis in beach biomes etc... I don't know about other people but i love a little action and things like this would definetly spice up the game.
And now, because you were too lazy to use energy on the work required for griefing, let the game grief for you! /sarcasm
I think that should sum everything up in that sarcasm there; most of the time these are suggested, they actually affect the landscape, so I'm assuming yours would as well: the game should not automatically grief your things. Already you can blow up your house by accidentally leading a creeper near, plus Endermen can steal your walls if they're the correct blocks, plus zombies break down doors on hard. So now you want tornadoes to pick up blocks (like they do in the mod), earthquakes to rip apart structures, and...heat waves...I don't even know what those are supposed to do...

But they could be an option you know. You guys must like to turn down suggestions alot. And heatwaves burn your house down your trees down and all of your crops would be gone.
I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. I hate people who like video games. I hate people who are hateful. I hate people that don't like spam. I hate people who like cake. I hate people who type in proper grammar and spell words properly on the internet. I hate hypocrites.
The idea is inherently flawed. Making it an option won't help.
You see, almost all damage to player-created things in this game is caused by the player or by the player's errors. If you lead a Creeper into your house, it could blow up and break a wall.
This is entirely different. You'd suffer massive damage at regular intervals for no appreciable reason, which would be incredibly frustrating and generally not fun.
On the other hand, if these were non world damaging effects (hurricanes that blow you around, tornadoes that suck you into the air, or heat waves that make you get hungry faster), then they'd be quite interesting.
