Hello, I think this games needs more objects that you can put inside the house or decorations. Yes you can make a castle out of cobblestone and wood houses but really the only cool thing as furniture or to put inside a house is a bookcase.. A great way you can incorperate new objects is by each player having a goal book. When they achieve a goal they obtain a special object. For example, if a player farms 10 sugar cane they recieve a red chair, or something along those lines. Also adding them for the crafting table would be great aswell. I do play the xbox 360 version and this if anything should be implimented after the xbox360 is up to date with the pc version.
Thanks for reading and hopefully I can get some feedback from a mod or creator.
I do think that minecraft needs more items to decorate houses. But I don't think minecraft really needs goals and rewards. Just dosen't seem like something that the game would have, sounds more like a mod than a feature
Well maybe like bosses and they drop loot? Or something thats hard and you recieve a special object at the end of it.
Maybe they can add a weekly minecraft world with a boss or a obstacle course and if you beat it you recieve a special object in the world of your choice :).
I just want to be able to craft more decorative objects. I wouldn't really want them to be tied to bosses, etc. Although I could see maybe having a specific category of decorative objects that are "trophies", which you could only earn from completing certain achievements or beating certain bosses. It would be cool to have a trophy room...
I think minecraft needs more minor utility blocks. Utility blocks are blocks that are used to create things, like the enchanting table or crafting bench. They're both useful and attractive. No random furniture. And the goals are just stupid. Minecraft is a SANDBOX GAME.

I haven't even bought MineCraft, I don't have the money...
Furniture, if it should be added at all, should be craftable. It makes no sense to get a giant chair from chopping down a tree.
Now as to if it should be added at all, I have to say that Minecraft is a sandbox game. Meaning that you have to actually be doing something to play the game. So vanilla wise, I don't think functional furniture serves much of a use if the player is supposed to be standing and generally moving while playing the game. Eye-candy furniture serves even less of a purpose, in my opinion...
So what I'm saying is, it could be added, but it's not so important that it should be added like, right now.

What does being a sandbox game have to do with everything else you said?

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
having things randomly appear becuase you did something completely unrelated. no.
if it made sense. maybe. say a village asks you to build a wall around the village and they give you the reward. that makes sense. not completelt random stuff. also, if there is furniture you should be able to craft it yourself.
