The idea here is simple: Your snow golem or Iron golem have the misfortune of either being crafted in the nether or coming in contact with a mob from the nether (IE getting hit by a ghast fireball, a blaze, a zombie pigman). That golem will start to feel an evil overtake them and convert them from their defender positions into hostile enemies who attack the player.
The iron golem could start to rust and turn a blackish or reddish color, to signify burnt metal. They will then turn on the player and (as an added bonus) attack NPC villagers.
The snow golem could become a walking series of magma blocks firing flaming snowballs at the player (just like a ghast on the overworld).
No significance to this really, just an idea that I thought would be interesting.
If a corrupted iron golem attacks a testificate, it should explode. Why? Iron golems are meant to protect testificates, and now that it's corrupted it also attacks them. The golem doesn't know whether to keep attacking the testificate or to defend it, so it explodes. It's like how beds in the Nether don't know whether to let you sleep or not because they don't know whether it's day or night, so they blow up in your face instead.
