i want to see your thoughts and ideas!
here is some i had...
sword enchantments-
paralisis- stuns mobs for a fixed period of time, but skeletons can still fire arrows and creepers can still blow up and stuff.
toxic strike- poisons mobs
revenge-does a lot more damage when health is low.
bow enchantments-
volley-shoots multiple arrows at a time
seeking shots- arrows slightly home in on the mobs when the arrows get close, but not so much it'll come around and shoot you or your buddy or your dog.
archer-arrows shoot faster and farther
poison arrows- arrows poison mobs
stun- same as paralasis but for bows
payback- same as revenge but for bows.
armor enchantments-
spine mail- when damaged directly from a mob, mob takes a bit of damage.
invisibility- shortens hostile mobs range of sight on you.
final stand- like revenge and payback, but blocks more damage instead of doing more damage.
guardian- makes a small chance for an attack to be blocked completely.
What levels can we get them at, what levels of enchantment can there be, how effective is each level of enchantment, etc etc.
paralisis 1 stuns for 2 seconds, 2 stuns for 3 secs. common rarrity
tokic strike 1 poisons for 5 seconds, 2 poisons for 8 seconds. medium rarity
revenge 1 double's damage when 3 hearts or under. common-medium rarity
volley 1 shoots 1 extra arrow, volly 2 shoots two extra arrows, and 3 shoots 3 more. common-medium rarity
seeking shots 1 does whats described above. medium-rare rarity
archer 1 shoots 3 blocks farther, 2 shoots 5 farther, 3 shoots 7 farther, etc up to 5. not sure how speed works. commonrarity
invisibility 1 reduces range of sight by 20%, 2 reduces 40%, and 3 reduces 60%. medium-rare rarity
final stand 1 blocks 70% of damage when 3 hearts or less. medium rarity
spine mail 1 does 30% damage you took onto the mob (eg. if mob does 5 hearts, mob takes 1.5 points) spine mail 2 reflects 50%. medium rarity
poison, stun, and revenge are just like the sword versions.
poison is common-medium rarity,
stun is common rarity,
and payback is medium rarity.
srry, i made these stats up without much thought. if you want to make improvments, be my guest.
gaurdian 1 has 10% of blocking, 2 has 20%, 3 has 30%, and so until 5.
