When tall grass is in snow, instead of being on top of a normal grass block it would be over a grass block with the white grass.
Currently, all snowy grass has the extra "fallen snow" on top. This would NOT have that, and would just be normal snowy grass with tall grass on top. (This can be used for flowers, etc. as well)
And thats not all.
Then tall grass (which uses a grayscale) would be.....white!
This works, although you could also just make tall grass and snow be able to overlap and share one block's space. I do agree that currently tall grass in snowy biomes looks horrid.
so basically you want tall grass to be replaced in snow biomes by a block which is like tall grass but has snow on it and is white, sounds good, it does look out of place when there is a patch of grass around tall grass.
I think he may be talking about the way Optifine does it, (which is an awesome mod, BTW.) where, at least I think this is how, the snow block is rendered with the tall grass. Not sure how it works, but I would like it. Though if not, I'll stick to Optifine.

Why am I here when I could be a productive member of society?
-Use the way optifine does it (If surrounded by snow it 'becomes' snowy)
-Then use the greyscale to make it a tiny bit darker
-THEN add a couple of white pixels at the top of the texture so it is 'snowed' on.

This would make landscapes look a lot better...
Just an idea.
Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
