Hello . so as you all can see . some players HATES the caves . it kills the fun of game .. you cant dig 2 blocks without falling into a cave .. you cant make your own mine . no fun .. at least thats MY opinioune .. some other players seems to like the caves the way it is . they like to explore and adventure . so the ultimate solution is to add a "VERY" simple option to the generater .. a scale from (0-10) of how much caves you want . if you like to dig your own cave and feel that happiness you used to feel before 1.8 each time you find a cave .. you cose something like 1 or 2 . if you want the caves but not like they are now .. chose 5 . if you want to make your own mine chose 0 . and chose 10 if you want to adventure . i think NOBODY can say no to this solution . but i would like to hear what you think about this .
I like caves, but I personally think there are too many of them, so I'd definetally like it if this was an option.

I know what it means to be alone,
I sure do wish I was at home.
I don't care what the neighbors say,
I'm gonna love you each and every day.
You can feel the beat within my heart.
Realize, sweet babe, we ain't ever gonna part.
Really? I haven't found zip within the last month. I think that those "some" people like you finding cave after cave are very lucky, or unlucky as you seem to think. Try a different seed, caves don't need to be reduced to delete your luck streak.

This could be fixed with this suggestion. When you make your world, just choose a high number.
Inmy 'opinioune' Minecraft has a lot of room for improvement. The caves however are not one of these things. Caves are fun. They add flavor. I'd be bored to death if all I did all day was dig little 3x2 tunnels. So no, this is not needed.
My OPINON*: Yes, caves are way too ****ing common now. However, I do not have a single problem with seemingly infinite cave systems. The problem I have is that it's like this in every single world. Nobody (including myself) wants seemingly endless caves gone or caves gone for that matter.
SOLUTION: Simple. Make caves the way they were before -- random, size variant, and RANDOM. We'll have really small caves, small caves, medium sized caves, large caves, larger caves, and seemingly infinite caves. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you must be really dumb.
We don't need sliders. There are enough options in Minecraft as it is. Sliders will only render exploration even more useless than it already is (unless there is a random option on the slider).
Because what's REALLY SUPER FUN is an endless layer of solid gray nothing under the dirt.
Totally.
It shouldn't be a number slider, at any rate. Make it a world-gen option (like Structures and World Type). None, Few (pre-1.8), Default (current) and Many (majority of underground space is caves).

Caves aren't problems, they are treasures. Let's try to remember this is MINEcraft. There should be lots of caves in a mining game.
Absolutely no support from me at all.
Disclaimer: Remember, these are my opinions. I am not stating them as facts.

I must admit its a good solution
