Y'know sometimes you have 2 of the same item with different enchantments and would like the enchantments to be on just one item? Well, what I'm proposing is a way to make it one item.
You would require 2 items of the same kind (e.g. 2 diamond pickaxes) that are enchanted. Also, neither could have ever been used even once. Then you would craft each with an Emerald or something, idk. So, let's say one had Silk Touch and the other had Unbreaking II. You would craft 'em with the emerald and end up with a single diamond pickaxe that has Unbreaking II and Silk Touch. Or, you could have 2 pickaxes with the same enchantment; for example, Efficiency IV. You would craft 'em and end up with Efficiency VIII. It wouldn't have to be pickaxes either; It could be swords, bows, armor, etc.
If you think this is a good idea or have anything to add on to this please + or reply, respectively!

Maybe... There would need to be an enchantment cap, I don't want people running around with Sharpness 127 swords one hit killing people in diamond armour...
I can't really offer support, as I'm on the fence here.
I don't really like this idea. It would either be about as useful as repairing is,you may occasionally use it but most of the time you forget it is there, or it would be overpowered and people would be running around with swords that one hit kill things and make them fly across the map as well setting them on fire till the end of time and making them drop enough loot to lag the world, depending on how it is implemented.
Also, nothing should EVER be crafted with emeralds.
