I've been watching a lot of videos on youtube of people playing on the new snapshots and I noticed the new books and how you can write in them. So I've been thinking what could be added to books and I have a couple of ideas, I don't have any pictures because I'm too lazy and I am a terrible artist. But the idea is that you can add a map into your book when you publish it. I think it would be very cool for adventure maps and just using it over all. Also the ability to dye books, such as adding your book and a color dye into a crafting table and it creates that colored book, if you like my suggestion or have any other ideas feel free to comment.
The colored book is already suggested by me. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1249603-colored-written-books

And, I can already import maps by just dragging a save into the saves folder. And yes, I support importing books.
Colored books? Pointless but fun, like Saint's Row The Third. Love it.
As for the map thing, I'd say crafting a map with a book should make the first page be the map. Continued crafting with other maps would fill following pages.

OT:
Map books? Writing a journal while reading a map is 20% cooler. (Rainbow Dash reference) But that'll be hard to read the map.
What is hard about opening a book?
Nothing is hard about opening a book.
Get off the internet and go read a book.
