As we all know, enchanting can be a bit of a scatter-shot when it comes to getting what we want. And, when we do get that diamond sword or pick with all the enchantments we were aiming for, those items tend to take a place of significance in our minds.
My suggestion is this: Allow players to add custom names to tools and weapons that have been enchanted.
My idea for this came about when I was working on some heavy enchanting. One of my results was a diamond pickaxe that had Efficiency V and Unbreakable III, and in my mind that pick was now named Obsidian Smasher, because I could use it to harvest obsidian much more rapidly. Or, with another example, a sword that had high level Smiting on it, and I decided to use it to farm zombie pigmen. So I mentally named it The Pigsticker.
I think it would be a nice, albeit minor, addition to the game if we could name our enchanted items. If nothing else, we can feel more epic swinging around an enchanted sword named Lightbringer or Excalibur.
i like this idea like if i had a daimond fire aspect sword i could name it something like "blazin blue" or "hot rod" like that? i like it and dont like it at the same time if you can name it whatever you want you might just find a disturbing name that some one gave there sword so i think there should be a filter if this was added

Maybe have the enchantment table bring up a "sign" gui right after a enchantment is done.
Actually, never played Skyrim
I just like the idea is all.
How? It's not like it would happen all that often, seeing that it requires an enchantment table and experience.
How? Too out-of-line?
To bee honest with you, minecraft and Mojang do their own thing, mostly.
