This is is my idea to make Minecraft World Generation more customizable to the players preference. when creating a new world, in the more world options page, there should be several options to adjust the generation of all the different biomes. You could use these options to make any biome of your choice generate more frequently, less frequently or even not at all. These options would include NPC Villages as well. Imagine if you're making an adventure map or something and you need a majority of the world to be desert biome, and you don't want to spend days using World Edit to cover the world in sand. Just turn up the generation of Desert Biomes and turn down the other biomes! Or if in Single Player you want your world to mostly consist of islands, just turn up ocean generation! What about in the next patch where they add Villager Trading, and you don't want to spend a long time looking for a village. Turn up the generation of NPC Villages!
Its a pretty simple idea I think, but it would make a big difference for players who want certain things in their map. Tell me what you think of the idea.

Then you don't have to use it. Its there as an option, like turning structures off.
