I appreciate that we have a yellow flower and a Rose in this game, but it's kind of dissapointing that we only have these two colors of flowers. It makes for a fairly boring garden. Even if we tried, the garden wouldn't have as much beauty around us. Perhaps adding more flowers could give the game a bit more color, like Poppies, Daffodils, etc. The more extravagance of colors and flower types, the better. Plus, it could easily help make possible the creation of many dyes without having to mix some colors together to get them.
Also, I cannot imagine for the life of me how the creators of Minecraft has forgotten to create the various forms of the Roses. I have seen Roses that grow like vines, and Rosebushes in real life, but in Minecraft, we can only plant a single Rose (in different texture packs, the Rose would look like a patch of Roses in some of them, but it still wouldn't suffice). We should have the ability to make a special type of fence to grow special vine type plants to grow stuff like the Vine Roses on them, and even grow a Rosebush by using Bonemeal on a Rose.
To best display how to make the special type of fence for vine plants to grow on, it would look like this:
Once we place the Vine Fences where we want them, we could then place a Rose right next to that fence, and use Bonemeal on it, and the Rose would turn into Vine Roses, which could act as a powerful defense against a mob that can climb walls, the Spider . It would make the ultimate defense against mobs, and yet it would also be a very decorative feature to our houses at the same time if you design it correctly. Lets see those irritating Creepers try and get through those!
If you wanted, you could also grow Rosebushes by using Bonemeal on a Rose, but without the Vine Fence. This way, you could have a Rose Bush. If you bashed the Rosebush block and broke it, you could get a few more Roses from it, then, you could arrange the Roses in your crafting grid to make a Rosebush block that you can place anywhere you want, which can also act as a special defence where any mobs that are trying to creep, crawl, or walk through them will end up taking continuous damage.
However, the downside is that if you make contact with the Rose Vines or Rosebushes, you will also take damage. But, if you are wearing Armor, you'll be protected from their thorns. In addition, the only way to properly make the Roses grow into either Rose Vines or Rosebushes with Bonemeal is if there is enough light in the vicinity of the Roses to grow these types of Rose plants. What do you guys think of this idea?

I liked it!minecraft needs more nature!and more biomes too!
Indeed, with only two colors of flowers available, there's no real incentive in making any fun gardens with the leaves you find, the trees, and current flowers available. Even Mushrooms wouldn't be very exciting without some other colors to hang around them.
