Well, some people like a side by side comparison to get a better idea of things. Just in case, I have now added side by side comparisons for both the ore and the block to the original post.

Well, like I've said earlier, my method of thinking was to make it match emerald ore because they are both gems. I just feel like the way it looks now doesn't really make it look like a crystal formation. But, popular opinion should prevail here, I was just giving my opinion. Thanks for the support on the block though.

Since a couple people have already asked me, I went ahead and just added to the first post that anyone may use either or both textures in their own texture packs.

Well then the sprites for emeralds and diamonds would also have to be changed, right?
