Yes, because if people do enough good things for certain villages then they can join that village, meaning you can have many players on one villages team and many on the other, then you can tell the king to send his troops to war against the other players village and huge NPC/player vs NPC/player combat ensues, would be very interesting!
I like most of your ideas, but I completely disagree with the races. I think the testificates are already good enough and your other ideas are incredibly cliche. Atleast the vanilla testificates are original...
The rest of your ideas are very well thought through. I think it would be extremely hard if not impossible to code this though, maybe you should try to make a mod of this.

If we started on a blank page, BRAND NEW GAME! And we put everything you suggested into this "new game", it would hold up pretty well with some minor changes to your character.
If it was put in, it would be asking Jeb to drop everything he's doing and start working on this. It sounds like no updates for a little less than a year.

About how there should be a few thousand types of trees and dozens of ways of cutting them down and making them grow and grow and drop seeds and tip over and hit the ground.

One thing: No way villages are ever going to spawn so common as 3 within 30 blocks, do you even know how far that is? thats a tiny distance.
Maybe you should try and assemble an team of coders, I'm sure you can find tons of people who can help you(and you will need it considering the size of the project).

dude this suggestion is awesome. It's a good idea, but you should know, that would be pretty much impossible to code. It's not that easy to add now mobs, or change existing ones. There are a million good ideas in this, but I honestly don't think it's possible. If it was, it might take a couple months, or years to code.
i like where your comeing from, BUT i have to say, i would HATE to play in minecraft with ALL of these changes. i can onestly say that i fully suport the races, and village generation fixes, but i cant stand the idea of currency, or any of the new items that where preposed. i enjoy questing games, but i dont think minecraft quests should be like the starting areas in wow (bring 5 leather) (kill 20 chikens). if any quests where to be added, i would want them to help you find strongholds, or summon and kill new bosses. mabey there is a small bedrock box somewhere in the world, and you can get a quest to go through a portal in the box and slay the evil snail that lives within! but for hevens sake! dont make it "tame 3 wolves", kill 4 pigs, grow two wheet! the main point could be summerized by saying, that quests should accomplish things, that you cant acomplish unless it is throgh said quest. i dont think minecraft should work like the millianar mod, or simmelar mods. all villagers should be equal, none lead, none serve. and i wouldnt want the villagers to attack each other. i like some ideas, like creating a house, that meets sertain details, and haveing villagers spawn there, almost like terraria, but it would be a heck of alot harder because it would have to be 3D. i dont think that they will add dwarves or goblins, but you may be onto something with the pigmen thing, if there where to be villages made of nether brick floating in the massive lava pools in the nether, i wouldnt complain. mabey on of the quests you can do lets you trade with the zombnie pigmen, the only problem i see with that, is the wild zombie pigmen that you find in packs all over the nether. i think that enough mods give you ruin, or abandoned structures, so as for abandoned villages, I cdont see a point. its just a random broken thing, preventing you from building on the only simi flat land in blocks! but i guess i could get over it, if there is a chest in the blacksmiths house. i also think, that villagers should be restricted from mineing/placeing blocks, this is alot to program, or so id imagen, and it might lag a-bit. on to the commbat stuff... it is hard enough to find a village, but if all of this is implemented your preposeing that there is a 50% chance of a village spawning near by, just so it can atempt to wipe out the initial village?!?!? WHY? and to what avail?!?!?! the villagers are a peaceful mob for a reason, and they are pretected by gollems. i think that a good trade can help you tremendisly advance in the venela game, a dimond for 3 emralds, or rotten flesh for books? even the ones that trade food have proven quite helpfull in my servival experience, but if that perfect trade is killed in a "war" then what?!?!? it would be an incredable hastle. lastly, on the matter of combat, i think that the villagers would run into this problam. say jeb and dinner bone and all the rest of the team deside to implament war. then when do the villagers fight? in the night? there are other monsters, and they are programmed to go inside. in the day? minecraft days last what? all of 7 minutes? and then what? NIGHT! so no matter what, they go home, and they get stuck fighting un-nessisary crap. now, lets say you find a sollution to this, lets say it is flawlessly programmed. and it is set to go. here is the reality. minecraft isnt flat. and as a player, you and i both no, that when you travel places, you have to nerd pole, and tunnel, and climb, and fly, and teleport yourself places! it is a blocky world in there, and the reality is, you cant jump over everything. i think that you could overpower the villagers, and give them a jump hight of 9, and no fall damage, but thats just pittiful. and this also gives my apinion on the whole traders idea. i cant stand the idea of moods. i have to deal with people all day long, and every one of them are always in a mood. i dont want to be blocked from tradeing, or given better prices! i just want to give them this, and take away that. THATS ALL! i dont want mrs ginger and her family who are all in one sad mood and not be able to trade with me! i dont want to gift mr. flub 9 dimonds so he will be my freind! the emotions are a horrid idea! and the names? why do i want to know a name?!?!?! its a testificate, its name is testificate one, as for family? testificate one took shelter at night with testificat 2, its beloved family member. who cares? it doesnt matter! i am fine if its part of a mod, i can just ignore it! but so help me! its ONLY purpose would be to add 370 kb to the minecraft.jar file! and i dont care if that only adds 5 millisecounds to the download, or 5 minutes! it is worthless! and pointless! to sum up the last minute of rage you just read, screw names, family, gifting, reputation, and emotion! it only complicates stuff! and to WHAT END?????????????????

This all sounds well and good, and it's formatted very well. I certainly agree that the whole village system in minecraft could use a major overhaul. Someone really needs to start putting more work and attention into improving villages and villager mechanics, and but a big start would be to just give them a realistic skin. This was planned way back when notch was still in charge of everything on minecraft. It's as if they've completely forgotten about how the current skin was meant as a placeholder. But anyway, that's just my two cents. I would love to see someone on the dev team begin focusing exclusively on these ideas and really taking them seriously. Right now, villages just don't serve much purpose other than a source of free crops early on in the game.

The villagers call their leader a leader until they have upgraded to a castle. Then they call their leader a king
