So i was thinking Mojang should add oil as a third (or fourth, if you include milk) liquid. It would be found in lakes found underground and obtained by buckets or oil pumps build on the surface with iron (like the 19th century). It would act like a liquid if placed and could run powered carts and furnaces.
Maybe not oil pumps(since this is Minecraft), but I had a similarish idea.
It could burn about as long as lava in the furnace.
Also an idea is that source blocks for it would float to the surface of water and could be lit on fire.
Fire on it would spread fast(but only to other oil blocks and would last a long time.
It could also spontaneously combust in the Nether or when it touches lava, or other fire.
It would be interesting for adventure maps or temples because you could have some National Treasure-like lighting system where you light the oil stream and it spreads to light the whole room.
It would also be interesting because you could light the surface of water on fire by having oil blocks on the top layer of water.
Let me know what you think.

NO
I see no problems with this idea (except oil wells) but no benefits either. No support.
