I always found it extremely annoying to go back and forth from Survival and Creative Modes.
I have both TMI and SPC (mainly for testing out contraptions and builds), but it's a real pain in the neck to go through all the steps it takes to update all my .class files again every time a patch comes out.
(And I know some people are real stingy about keeping their mod virginity )
So what are Bottles o' Reversing, you say?
The Bottle o' Reversing would be a green-blue glowing potion with a yellow outline, and it wouldn't be a real potion, but it has the appearance of one, like a Bottle o' Enchanting.
It would be available ONLY IN CREATIVE MODE (you can't even get them through trading with villagers) and there would be no crafting/brewing recipe for it, of course.
What the Bottle o' Reversing does is it changes your gamemode between Survival and Creative.
When you drink it in Creative, it would toggle your gamemode to Survival, and its durability bar will go down by half. (to insure you always have a backup Bottle o' Reversing so you would be able to switch it back)
Whenever you want to switch it back to the gamemode you had before, you would simply drink the Bottle o' Reversing again and the bottle will "break" after the second time it was drank out of.
This would be very useful in switching gamemodes back and forth without mods, and it would also be useful as a reward at the end of an Adventure map, where you could drink it and fly around the map to see how everything worked.
I hope you enjoyed and please reply in the comments what you think!
Sorry, I didn't realize this had come out.
It's so hard to keep track of all the new stuff with all these snapshots!
I guess the Bottle o' Reversing is kinda redundant now, but I think it'll be still pretty cool.
The Bottles o' Enchanting had no actual use to it, as enchanting in Creative now doesn't need xp, but people still used them as a popular side-reward in maps.
