Can we have the Silverfish blocks in Creative in a different category than the other blocks? Too many times have I built a structure only to have it hiss at me because I used the wrong block.
I certainly don't think it's a terrible suggestion.
It actually is pretty bad. All your suggestion is suggesting is moving a block from a menu because you're far to lazy to actually read the name of the block.

No need for the hate, there. Besides, wouldn't it make more sense if it were with the other eggs? It would avoid mixing up blocks like I do. But hey, it might just be me saying, "That is Cobblestone." because I'm not used to the new Silverfish blocks.

It wouldn't since eggs are designed to spawn a mob upon right-clicking. The silverfish blocks, are infact blocks. They just disappear and spawn a silverfish upon a specific event occuring. If using it immediately spawned a mob, I would agree with you, but it doesn't.

Fair enough. I guess I'll just have to get used to the new blocks...
