so basically, this is simultaneously a suggestion and a prediction.
prediction/suggestion 1: more Golems
you didn't think they would stop at 2, would they? We have the melee Golem and the Golem that throws snowballs, so I'm guessing the Golem that throws fireballs will come around eventually (see Ghast and fire charge), maybe along with an arrow Golem. Perhaps to make a fire Golem, you have to light the pumpkin on fire~
prediction/suggestion 2: Mummies
we now have pyramids. Re-skin the zombies (perhaps give them more/less health and change their drops) and implement them in traps and voila~ a new mob that only spawns in pyramids (perhaps they could spawn via spawner like cave spiders). Sounds logical doesn't it?
prediction/suggestion 3: utility mobs that aren't golems
probably also robotic or something of that nature, not all utility mobs have to be golems. Now that villagers can trade, perhaps they could buy stuff from the villagers for you, then bring back the goods? (No, they are buying with your money, they are buying what you told them to buy)
prediction/suggestion 4: More than one boss
So the "final" boss is the Enderdragon. Why stop there? Why not create more boss monsters? Many different boss monsters, each must be fought differently, each is different, each is fun in it's own way, each has a treasure of some sort, etc.
so, to profile~
Enderdragon
has 100 hearts
attacks via melee attacks
very flighty
and can deal 5 hearts of damage in one hit.
Ender crystals, scattered around the map, lying on the top of Obsidian pillars, will continually heal the Enderdragon
To get to an Enderdragon, one must first create the end portal with several eyes of ender
so a new boss would be something like this:
King Pharaoh
has 200 hearts
attacks via lazorz (danmaku bullet form) coming from his scepter. They are slow moving and are fired in a pattern. There are a lot of bullets. A lot.
He moves rather slowly
the bullets can kill you in maybe 4 hits or something (2.5 hearts) use/build walls to protect yourself.
He can heal himself by touching a crystal in the back of his throne room, which he will often do. Separate him from the crystal or destroy the crystal.
To get to the King Pharaoh, one must gather some sort of drop from pyramids/mummies, then assemble some sort of portal, which will bring you to a world with a complex maze made of sandstone or something, with mummies randomly roaming about. The maze is long and very complex. At an arbitrary point in the maze, you will find the throne room (one entrance, bedrock walls with sandstone over the bedrock) in the throne room you will find the King Pharaoh, who is 5-20 blocks tall (IDK I can't decide). He will begin firing an enourmous amount of lazor-type bullets. One can manuever through the gaps in the bullets, but it is easier to make a wall and sit behind it, coming out to shoot an arrow or something every so often. Of course, the healing crystal must be taken care of (which is behind his throne) and he will walk towards you, so your barrier will be rendered useless unless it is moved/expanded
After killing it, collect an Ankh that appears above the entrance as a trophy, like the dragon egg.
of course, King Pharaoh is just a random example that I came up with on short notice, but I'd think it'd be fun to have multiple or even several bosses in minecraft. I mean, can you explain to me why you would think otherwise? They'd have to be in another dimension (for coherence and so that you don't randomly run into them, and getting to them should be hard too) and thus adding them would only allow more game-play (well, you get the point, more gameplay, a hostile mob you enjoy fighting)
so, anyone care to yell at me why this'd be horrible?
or~ anyone care to tell me about a cool boss they've been thinking up?
This is a wishlist and all of these ideas have been suggested before. Please read the rules and search before posting.
