For snow biomes:
-Husky Dogs (Reskinned wolves, but only spawn in snow biomes, and are more difficult to kill than wolves. Can be tameable by the useage of five bones per dog. Husky dogs that are spawned to specifically guard igloos cannot be tamed and will attack any mob or living entity until killed)
-Igloos (Could be made of either blocks of ice or blocks of snow. Typical igloos could have a bed, chest, and husky guard dog which guards the igloo from any mob or living entity in a 8 block radius.) (The chest could typically have torches, snowballs, a few cooked meats and a half broken pickaxe. Rare items in these chests could be diamond pickaxes, a full stack of torches, a diamond, and emerald.) (Larger igloos could hold a double chest, two beds, one furnace, and a fishing hole. The double chest would averagely hold a half used fishing pole, unused pickaxe, three raw fish, two cooked fish, 16-32 torches, and 0-16 snowballs) (Rarer items could be a stack of four diamonds, an emerald, an unused diamond pickaxe, and 7 cooked fish) Igloos would also generate on frozen lakes, or very near frozen lakes. They would also be usually uncommon to find, depending on the seed. The igloos are also abandoned except for the guarding husky dog.
-Icecream (There could be two different flavors: Vanilla (Default) and chocolate. To craft icecream, you would need one block of snow, two snowballs, three buckets of milk, and one bowl. Put the block of snow at the top, in between two snowballs. The under it put the three buckets of milk, then in the bottom middle place the wooden bowl. To craft chocolate, place the bowl of vanilla icecream into the middle of the crafting table. Then place 8 cocoa beans around the icecream bowl (completely surrounding it.) Vanilla icecream would restore five hunger when eaten, but if you each two bowl within one minute, you will get a brain freeze, and lose one heart every five seconds for twenty-five seconds. (It will stop when you reach half a heart, if time has not run out.) Chocolate icecream will restore eight hunger, and if eaten twice within one minute, will cause you to have a brain freeze, and lose a heart every ten seconds for thirty seconds. (Stops at half a heart, if time has not run out.)
-Yetis (Yetis would be neutral mobs which wonder the snow biome alone. (Meaning they do not travel in groups.) When aggressive, Yetis will attack in a similar way the iron golem attacks. Yetis could also be two and a half blocks tall (Maybe even taller.) You can tame a Yeti by giving it two bowls of icecream. It will then follow and guard you until you or it dies. If you give it chocolate icecream after taming it, its fur will turn brown, and you will earn the achievement, "Bigfoot Found!" While walking on snow covered ground, Yetis could leave footprints in the snow, which could be a way of finding them. (If you wonder in a snow biome, and suddenly see foot prints, you could follow them and eventually find the Yeti). Yetis also move quite slow.
For Villages:
-Ghost Towns (Ghost towns could be abandoned villages. No villagers, water, or crops anywhere in sight. Most of the buildings would have broken windows and no doors. Inside the buildings, there could be cobwebs and no torches. Some of the roofs could also have holes in them. There could be multiple chests throughout the village, however, and they could hold the following: Diamonds, emeralds, half used swords, half used chestplates, half used pickaxes, and bones. Zombies and skeletons could also spawn inside the houses (Not spawners, but they could be programmed to have a better chance of spawning inside)
-Mines (Mines that are found in villages, which a specific villager goes down in, to mine several ores. The village mines could either be short, or long, and have a %50 chance of generating with villages. They could also go very deep, or stay close to the surface. If they go down deep, they could have a %15 chance of generating diamond ore.) (They would also have no aggressive mobs within them, but if miner villagers are near while you mine, they will attack you for mining in their mine)
-Cavern Villages (Small villages found in large underground caverns. Their houses could be made out of stone, but they only spawn in large caverns. The villagers would have a different look from normal villagers. They would have red eyes, torn and tattered looking clothes, and will jump and shake insanely. They will also randomly attack you, then randomly stop.) (To make them seem insane.) (Inside their stone-houses, there could be chests which could hold food, pickaxes, almost broken swords, and rare ores such as diamonds or emeralds.)
For Oceans:
-Sunken Cities (Large cities, found on the ocean's bottom, made of stone brick, or cobblestone, which are covered with sand. The buildings that you go into would have no water in them, and have a %50 chance of having a chest within them. The chests would typically hold iron ingots, pickaxes, and swords. Rare items in the chests could be: Diamond armour (either the helmet, leggings, boots, or chestplate), diamond sword, diamond pickaxe, emeralds, an emerald block, 1-5 diamonds, and a diamond block.)
-Atlantis (A huge sunken city at the bottom of an ocean, which its streets, buildings, and structures are made of nothing but emerald blocks, diamond blocks, iron blocks, and gold blocks. It would also be covered with a three-layer glass dome, which would have some holes in it when you find it. Most of the buildings have chests in it with up to 10 diamonds in each one, as well as 0-4 emeralds, any variation of sword, pickaxe, axe, hoe, shovel, helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.) (Only one Atlantis will generate per world, and will be extremely hard to find. There would also be no way to locate it, besides swimming over oceans, looking for it. Atlantis can have up to twenty buildings/structures generated within the dome, and is generated differently for every seed.)
-Ender-Kraken (A large, shadowy squid with illuminated purple eyes, and can swim very quickly. It also has the same particle effect as the Endermen, and is automatically aggressive either if it sees the player, or if the player sees it. If you stare at the Ender-Kraken, it will teleport you underwater, in front of it, then charge at you. It would have twenty hearts, and only three can spawn at a time. They can only be found in oceans, or very large lakes. When Ender-Krakens are killed, they will drop 0-3 Eyes of Ender and 1-5 Ender pearls. They will also drop 1-3 Kraken Fangs. Kraken fangs can be collected up to four, and then you can craft them along with three ender pearls, one Eye of Ender, and one glass block to create an Egg Incubator, which then can be used to hatch the Ender dragon egg.)
That is all for now, more ideas coming soon! Post your thoughts and opinions on my ideas in the comments!
Other than that, this is a wishlist.... one idea per topic please. Unless the idea is linked with smaller ones that support it, then that counts as more than one idea per topic.
Say, an ice dimension, which introduces new tools and new blocks eg.... thats an example of linked ideas, which is allowed.
Your topic is an example of the opposite, i suggest posting a few of these ideas in different topics. Say, your ideas of snow biomes can be combined into a topic called: "Snow biome overhaul."
Just a little advice.
