Some of these prices I've seen on Villager Traders are overpriced to the point where trading almost becomes useless.
For instance, by the time you've found 1 Emerald you'd have found 25 diamonds.
Would you really like to trade 4 of those Emeralds for 1 measly diamond, considering
that the true value of 4 Emeralds is 100 diamonds?
Also, the fact that Villagers ask for renewable resources as payment is also very overpowered in the long run. For instance, it's incredibly easy to set up a massive wool farm and get easy emeralds by spamming one trade.
The prices rise as you trade them, but this can be easily countered by the fact that renewable resource farms speed up exponentially, so long as you expand them.
I suggest basing the prices off of Diamonds-
25 Diamonds = 1 Emerald, therefore 19 Wool = 1 Emerald is nowhere near true.
They'll probably fix the rarity to match the value in the next snapshot. The problem with trading emerald for diamonds isn't that it's overpriced, but that you can. Diamond should remain non-renewable and neither it nor its tools and armor should be sold by villagers. Becoming renewable really devalues diamond, and even worse, automated farms can be used to buy them.
You aren't supposed to mine emeralds. How many times must one say this?
Emeralds, when their ores were still going to be implemented, were primarily gotten through trading. Finding the ore was a nice occurrence that was more like "you found some extra emeralds, have a pat on the back" than "ZOMG YOU CAN NOW TRADE THIS JUNK FOR A DIAMOND".

You have my concerns, but my respect as well
