It seems that currently, not one person is happy with the world generator system. Some people don't like Tundras next to Jungles next to deserts. Others hate the way it all seems so boring. Lots of people hate the ocean floors. Many people don't like the current beaches. Here's a great way we could fix this:
A much more expansive terrain generator system, with options such as:
(Note [] is supposed to be a checkmark box)
Which biomes do you want to have in your world:
[]Jungle
[]Tundra
[]Taiga
[]Desert
[]Mushroom
[]Etc.
Do you want biomes to be placed according to Heat and Rainfall (I.E. No tundras next to deserts)
[]Yes
[]No
Which generated features do you want:
[]Pyramids
[]Villages
[]Strongholds
[]Etc.
Which sea floors do you want:
[]Spotted
[]sand
[]Dirt
Beaches:
[]Overlaying the terrain
[]Not there at all
[]Flat and pre-generated
Beach materials:
[]Both
[]Sand
[]Gravel
Terrain:
[]The "unboring" where everything feels nice and new
[]Some of us like rolling hills everywhere
*Rocky flats and random holes/pits:
[]Yes
[]No
Also, mods could be made which would give additional customization, for options with out enough support to go in vanilla, if people cared enough for it:
Do you want villages to be:
[]Different depending on the biome
[]Sandstone
[]Default
*I hate random stone areas. Anyone else bugged by them?
Anyways, many more options could be added, so please suggest any of your ideas. If you have constructive criticism please share it!
I simply love this idea. Those options would basically give you the type of world you want, instead of random world generators

I know what it means to be alone,
I sure do wish I was at home.
I don't care what the neighbors say,
I'm gonna love you each and every day.
You can feel the beat within my heart.
Realize, sweet babe, we ain't ever gonna part.
I like this idea too, but it should definitely be optional. I wouldn't want to have to go through checking and unchecking all of that just to play Minecraft. This would make a good mod, if anything.

It would be optional, it would be just like the little "more options" tab in the current world creation system.

Same, but some people like that. So it should always be down to personal choice.
