So, now that we have trading with villagers, I think it's high time I make a list of suggestions that Jeb should take note of and implement right away. Each item will be explained IN DETAIL, so if you don't like reading, just glance through them. Please don't post stupid comments like that's gay or that these are stupid ideas, because they are all stupid ideas compared to finding ways to cure cancer. Anyway, on to my list:
1. The Nether is empty, even the zombie pigmen don't want to stay (You will see them in the overworld when lightning strikes a pig). How about using the new emeralds as a way of coming back? They are obviously going to be rare, but veins of up to 6 per chunk should be good enough. Not too rare, yet not too common, which is a great balance.
2a. Another gret idea is to be able to make Nether Tools. Now, this requires making them tougher to break in order keep a good balance. Netherrack should only be able to be broken by at least Iron tools or better. When you mine ithe Netherrack, it has a very small chance (Possibly 5%? Debatable) of dropping Netherstone. Using the Netherstone, you can create a Nether Pick. It will allow you to mine obsidian faster, has a durability between stone and iron.
2b. Along with the Netherpick, the player is also able to make Nether Armor. Each piece has a durability between Iorn and Diamond, but will allow the wearer to swim in lava. Now you can't stay in there forver, so the durability will wear over time.
3a. That little button that you use to switch between default and superflat terrain. While many people will want a deeper superflat, the better idea would be to add in InDev and Alpha Terrain Generation. In InDev, you had four tabs, each with four different types. Since the terrain was limited then, it would be great to add in that limited terrain to add a bit of challenge to players. It may be a good idea to add in those options when the player creates the level. In Alpha, everyone remembers the shallow water, the surface clay, beaches , and the sparse trees. Also include the proper ore distributions to add to the Nostalgia factor. Now I know this would be hard, but not too hard. I really don't see how hard it could be to make the terrain be able to generate that way.
3b. Also, there needs to be an option to play survival test. You get 30 arrows and 10 blocks of TNT. Reimplementing the punching sheep to get wool and to set off TNT should also be added to options that the player can select while creating the world, but only if they choose InDev or Alpha Terrain and the option to punch TNT should be manditory for Survival Test.
4. Torches need to be limited and have the option to craft Lanterns. Now, before you rage, make it so that, not only are lanterns placeable, you also have the option to carry them. What would be the price to pay for such a unique item? I was thinking torches, glass, and iron, but that would mean it would be limited, so I think that glass along both sides, a piece of iron on the top and bottom, and a glowstone should be good enough to produce 3 lanterns.
5. The final thing: Sponges. Notch and Jeb have said that they couldn't figure out how to introduce them as a way for players to obtain them, possibly through crafting. I got an even better suggestion, just put them in chests and place them in the hands of the vlillagers. Also, they need to be re-implemented to clear out a 5x5x5 area of water. I am tired of having to sand and gravel the entire ocean just to get at some clay. I don't want to use creative or Too Many Items to get the brick, and I'm tired of having to fight my way to close a hole that happens to lead to the ocean. EDIT: I forgot to add that Sponges should not absorb water. When they are broken, all the water is replaced as if nothing had happened
I want everyone's comments, and please try to be nice about it, even if they are negative, and tell me whether Jeb should work on these or not.
Multiple unrelated ideas? Sorry, this violates our rule about no wishlists. Got to close it.

They read through the forums, so I think we need to get buzz about this.
Thank you, I'm with the Retro Gamers.
