You remember some patches ago? Where you, with the right texture pack, could see very different coloured grass in one area? Well. I tried to make my texture pack like that, and failed. I can make the colours for the plains biome i.e. all sparkly and blue and green and orange and yellow, but the grass will stay green.

Medieval builder and texture artists. Also totally awesome.
Well, that doesn't really make sense. As far as I'm aware, it's even easier than before to change the color of grass due to the biome overlay PNG image in the /misc folder. Your problem is most likely that you need MCPatcher or something to make it run properly. Maybe even not, it could just be that you edited the colors wrong.

No, the thing is that the biome overlay doesn't do that much anymore. I know how to edit the colours, and it worked before, but it isn't as cool now.

Explain to me how it isn't as cool, can you give me an example of that texture pack before and after as a comparison?
