It looks very nice aside from the apperence and attack. My suggestion would be to make them slimmer and give them a stabbing/slicing attack. But hey, it's your thread

The reason isn't that Mojang is ignoring you (though they might still) but they are only making bug fixes and performance changes until after 1.3 (August). So after like August 1st maybe contact Jeb or some other dev about it.
SEND IT TOO JEB. anyway you could do that instead of the orange wool in the middle of the the room and underneath the tnt trap with chesta they could put the lapiz lazuli simbol instead of the wool and then put a pressur plate in the middle... i dont know how but jeb could make a special thing were the lapiz lazuli goes all strange with an aura around it like a mini aurora on the lapiz lazuli blocks, the just in front of you a piston pushes a block of lapiz lazuli away and heres a treasure room. Have you ever played zelda? well have in mind the beamos when you disactivate them that have the head droopy and stoe cracky body we could do that they seem like that when glod golems are disactivated. This is One Of Those Rare Ideas. Well Thought Out, Genius, And Practical. This Idea Is For One Golem, But With This Implemented, We Could See Golems More As Guards Than Another Mob. This Has Potential To Actually Be In The Game! Though I Would Like To Say, It Seems Interesting That They Are 1 Per Pyramid. It's Not Seemingly A Great Idea, But It Seems Good. If This Is Added I Would Like To See Another Type Of Golden Golem With A Better Guard Function. These Golems Don't Fling Or Push You, But Pick You Up And Throw You Out Of The Pyramid. Guardian Golems Seem To Be An Interesting Update Direction. With Stuff Like This Being Thought Out And Planned By People Who Have Good Suggestions, We Could See Mojang Start To Put In Materials Players Suggest More Often. Hopefully This Joins Minecraft In 1.3.1!

I think that maybe they could have a slow healing factor so that you can't attack then wait a long time then attack again. And other things to prevent exploits like they can't drown or burn (they are metal) and no fall damage like iron golems.
Honestly, I Think There Should Be More Than 1 Golem. Players Could Just Team Up To Get Past The Golem And Then They Would Be Free To Loot The Temple For All It's Riches......

I Suggest You Make It So You Cannot Continue Further Without Defeating The Golems, Increase Their Stats A Lot More, Or Make It At Least3-4 Golems. Players Will Always Find A Way Around A Minecraft Obstacle Without Doing It The Proper Way. You Can't Change That. All You Can Do Is Make It Harder To Go Around, So They Have To Do It Properly To Do it Easier. Change Some Stuff Around About Your Golems And You'll Find Players Won't Stand A Chance With A Raid Team. So Far So Good Mate, But A Long Way To Go If You Want To Make This The Perfect Idea For The Game. Don't Make It Cheap, Don't Make It Easy. Make It Fair And They'll Make It Minecraft.

Make The Health A Touch Lower Than Iron Golems Since The Difference Isn't That Much (Somewhere In The 90s Or 80s). As For Damage, Lowering The Minimal Would be Better To Something Like 8 Instead Of 5. Since You Want To Make A Realistic Comparison Between Iron And Gold Golems, You'd Want Them To Have Some Advantages Over Iron. With An Implication Like This, You'd Want To Have Much Stronger AI. Good point. so cap it at 1-2 Golems And not changing Damage
this is a great idea that will allow people to make gold machines. Just like iron machines with iron golems. I also think 10-20 mini degraded versions should be in it instead so that people like me who think for the futer of machinery can use this as a gold mine. LITTERLY!!!
