Hello there I have thought of a not so totally original idea to input a recycler into the game. Haven't you ever built by accident something you don't need or have a bunch of items there were useful earlier but, now you would rather have the materials the items were made out of? Well I was considering with the recycler which could be made out a piston, diamond, lava bucket or whatever complex material set-up could be used to (at least partially) return the materials back to you from the item you insert. So lets say you have a spare iron door but, need the iron from said door for an iron pick axe well insert the iron door into the recycler and you could get: A. all materials back or B. some of the materials back and the chances of how many materials would be returned to you are based on chance and/or could depend on the certain creations around the recycler (i.e. how a enchantment tables power is affected by nearby bookshelves), or by how advanced the recycler is and that could fit in whereas the level of the recycler could determine what can and cannot be recycled and for every upgrade you would need rarer and rarer items for the next upgrade (wood>iron>lava>diamonds etc.). Also when it comes to tools, weapons and armor the condition of the item would also contribute into the amount of materials returned (meaning if you have a iron helmet in poor condition you would generally get less back than an iron helmet in good condition.)
No, that would make the game way too easy. If you "craft something by accident", it's really no one's fault but your own. That's why we stock up on items in the first place.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.
this is a good idea, but bad at the same time. couldnt one just recycle an almost used diamond sword, get the diamonds back, remake it, and have it good as new?

Perhaps some materials could be wasted in the process.
Perhaps one diamond sword could have a 50% chance of giving a stick and a 100% chance of giving 1 diamond, but it will never give two diamonds.
If materials were wasted in this fashion it would take you about 2 diamond swords to make 1.

So true, though recycling will be a big hassle ,thinking should I recycle or keep it.Bunch of ideas jumps into your brain. Here is something magical transforming a die to a flower.Unrealistic,Witchcraft...
Any criticism is welcome
and turns it into balls of clay.
Easy bricks :>
if that were to be put in place we would probably need to make clay spawning the way it used to be.
