Hi everyone,
I was playing with redstone circuits on my minecraft account a few days ago when I realised how handy it would be if you could conduct currents up walls. This led me to think what would happen if minecraft added redstone WIRES to the game. Redstone WIRES can be gained be putting redstone dust in a furnace, thereby melting the dust into a solid wire. The wire could conduct an extra 5 tiles because of the increased conductivity of wires and obviously it being able to conduct up walls.
Please tell me what you think of the idea.
Even though this was posted a million times or so he might not even know this was posted a million posted a million times, so excuse him for not knowing... Here have a porkchop and calm down.

That's not an excuse for not using the search bar.

You're never happy on the forums...cheer up brother, it's a suggestion to advance the minecraft community, and posting it again doesn't mean anything!
Actually, itdoes. If I wanted to, I could fill this entire post with links to Vertical Redstone Threads up to this point. There was a point where they even were a common thing to see.
And secondly, it's the suggestions forum, and for a reason, it isn't suggestions "everyone throw out what you want in the game and get applauded". If you can't handle a small amount of criticism, I hate to sound mean, but get off. Criticism is the only way things become improved; find a flaw in something, you can fix it. Posting means (or at least, should mean) you've thoroughly thought out an idea and want it in the game for reasons other than "it'd look totally super cool"

Why are you getting so hostile? I'm not saying the idea hasn't been posted before. I don't give a crap how many times you've seen it either.
I'm definitely not saying that criticism isn't welcome, and this isn't even my damn post!
But, what you're typing to this thread isn't constructive criticism. It's just flat out rude.
I, personally, haven't seen this before...and if you've seen it "so many times" that you could fill the thread with links to other topics, why the heck did you click it? I mean honestly man, doesn't make sense.
Thanks guys, this is obviously my first time posting something so I wasn't fully aware of making sure that there where no other topics dating the same here I will know for next time. Also the more of these "vertical redstone" topics there are the more the minecraft developers will know that this is a highly desired feature. Apparently there are mods for this, but who would want a glitchy mod compared to a part of a fully developed game.
Thanks again for the support and help.

I didn't say it was bad.

What's up? I'm the proud co-owner of a little ClassiCube server called Minebuild.
