To obtain Feldspar Dust, one will have to mine Granite, which will naturally generate in the Overworld on levels 40 and lower. Mining Granite will require an Iron or higher pickax. Once you have the Granite block, you will then put it into your Crafting Table which will convert it into 4 Feldspar Dust. With this dust you will be able to create the ever-awaited Sponge block. The recipe will require wool and it will be crafted like this:
=
= Feldspar Dust = Wool
The Sponge would turn to the color of wool you would use.
Granite would be a place able block, but because in the real world it's a pain to extract, it would take 10 seconds to mine. Using this idea, we will have a new block, an old block, and a new dust (which might open up the possibility for a new potion).

I feel like we should be able to make a sponge, however, with already made materials in minecraft. But good idea! Build on it!

Well, thank you.
I changed it to have the Sponge be like a chamelion, changeing to the colour of the wool.
I think that Granite just being a bit harder than stone to break would be more appropriate.
