Well, in this case, there is no right or wrong. It's just a matter of preference. Some find this guide useful, and others might have picked up things from watching this forum, others no-nos from other forums. If you're debating the amount of major celestial bodies in the solar system, that'd be different.
But, debating how useful a guide is or how nessicary this guide is. This would come from point-of-view.

My Avatar is a Dalek, therefor your argument is... EXTERMINATED!!!
You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.
Also, Comic Sans is really good at getting ones attention, like so. Doesn't work well without a bright color.
Oi YOU! Yes you! Do you like pizza? Of course you do! So come down to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Parlor today!

No, no. There's a difference between preference and argument. One is a statement about yourself, the other is using logic in an attempt to prove something. Most of what we're doing is considered argument. Point-of-views are there, but they're in the background of the argument since they don't prove anything.

Flashing a strobe light in someone's eyes is also a good way of getting attention. So is throwing a fit and swearing left or right. Ooh, how about punching someone in the face? That's a really good way to get someone to notice you.

Well, I don't know where you, swaglord676, yoshi9048 and Theriasis plan to go with this argument. Seems to that it's just an unchanging thought or mindset being stated over and over again. Like I said, I don't know where y'all plan on taking this.

Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
I'm highly offended that you use 10-12 year-olds as bad suggestion-making machines.
Get over it. The dirty and simple is because they're words. Simple ineffective words made by people you will likely never meet outside of the forum. Taking offense over the slightest provocation will hinder you in the long run and already invalidates you (to me) in the short run.
I've said it before, if you're offended; then discuss it instead of stamping your feet and going all pouty-lipped. The classic (and flawed) argument is that age isn't a factor when discussing these things. This is highly erroneous simply because an average human's brain is still developing well into their twenties. The hippocampus is the last part of the brain to fully develop, and that's the part that relates to long term decision making and planning. Which is to say, when someone says you're not thinking ahead, what they're really trying to say is "you haven't developed the capabilities to think ahead" which is a major reason why the drinking age in most countries is being pushed toward 21.
In the end, you think society has it bad on you because of your age, mother nature has it even worse for you. Instead of crying wolf because someone says something you dislike, consider the reasons why they say it.
I'm highly offended that you use 10-12 year-olds as bad suggestion-making machines. I'm 11, and there are many younger people on the forums.
I'm... sorry you... feel that way? I'm not gonna remove that from my guide, and a lot of those statements were just used for some cruel motivational "don't do this" moments. I know not every young person is an awful suggester, but uh... this forum has quite a lot of them.
Also, there's some dirty language in the suggestion guide.
Yup, there sure is.

It hasn't been removed because the words are in image form.
Lol, perfect way to break a rule
But they could always remove the image.

A major problem is the image was created before the rule change expunged cursing, and removing the image would be equal to removing the reason for the thread to be stickied. Of course, with the resurgent amount of people that break basic protocol and blame the guide for their error, I can see how they would try. I also have people that try to unsticky FTC, which is quite humorous as there's no real reason to.
I'm confused as to why they refer explicit laugnuage as "dirty words." There is no dirt on these words

it's breaking the forum rules, because this is supposed to be a FAMILY FRIENDLY website. Don't come around those very often.
There was a time where swearing actually was allowed on this forum. God I missed that, you could really verbally shred stupid posters back in the day.
The guide also had swearing, and I had to blank them out a year ago. I only remove "dirty stuff" from my guide if a mod requests it, because quite frankly. I just. Don't. Care.

Infinite loss crafting cycles
When you craft A from B and C and you can craft B from A, it's an infinite loss cycle. It's just a waste of C. Noone is going to just waste a material.Hmm, I'll think about this one. Can you give some examples for this?
Long boring crafting lines
You get A, then craft it to B, then craft it to C, then craft it to D and then craft it to E, that finally has an usage. There's no need for the long crafting line unless the B, C and D have another usage.Good one. I'll add it. Void stuff
First, void is no material. And when it doesn't stand for a material, it's a dump prefix.I haven't seen this one. Dump ores
Adding new ores just for new tiers of tools is just scale tiping. When they have another usage, it's OK, but when they are just for tools and armour, it's just another dump material that would just stay in the chests. That's already in the list. New fuel
There's really a lot of fuel, because each bucket of lava smelts 100 items and there's much lava in the Nether. So do you still want more?I don't know if I fully agree with that one. It depends. When someone asks for something that's already made of say, wood, to be a fuel when it initially isn't, it makes sense. Are you talking about new items that are used JUST for fuel and nothing else?

The ability to rate profiles was removed in the new forums (probably because people were spamming 1 stars).
The lava bucket icon was removed (and there doesn't seem to be a replacement).

That's an argument without substance. You aren't actually saying anything when you say that. An argument about words means nothing.
Instead, figure out the reason and purpose behind the words used, and actually make an argument about the content instead of how it's presented.
