That's insanely better than most first post thread makers who come here. My first suggestion was... *shudder* this... The only saving grace was that I actually took the time to add an image.
The best part is that everybody seemed to love it.

Pointing out fallacies to undermine an argument is also a fallacy...
Makes you think twice about what your posting and how you post but it mainly as small as it may at least somebody is trying fix the worlds internet problems.
I think this post was very neatly formed, but I can't agree with trolling back. I mean when I get angry I admit I do rage-quit and sometimes it helps. But going back and trying to troll back makes you kinda look immature and ignorant weather you've rage-quit or not. But I do think this was a really good post. Now I know how to properly post.
*facepalm* You obviously didn't read the forum rules.
Who are you facepalming? Is it yourself? It couldn't have been for Theriasis because there's no validity there. Profanity was allowed for a bit after that guide was posted here.
Except for not addressing the horrible grammar(with which about half of the suggestions are written ._.) a decent guide, with pretty fonts.
Well, for the record, this guide did actually mention the aspect of grammar (see Presentation: #5). While it did not specifically call out the bad grammar in the suggestions, or go into a lot of detail on how good/bad grammar affects the quality of your post, it did address the issue.
But yes, this was a decent guide, with certainly pretty fonts.

I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.
but I'd go through it with another pass to improve diction as it does get somewhat condescending and patronizing.
Sorry to say, I'm probably not gonna rewrite that. That's what gives the new entries that extra spice and might go a bit farther in stopping some new guy from making those mistakes over and over.

Possibly . Also remember that defiance is a ****. People may intentionally do the exact opposite of what you prescribe simply to spite you because you hu't dehr widdle feewings.
This looks like something a Staff Member would write! (compliment) I liked looking at the "BadPoster" examples. Edit: This is a prime example of a bad suggestion. (No offense, but it's in my opinion)

Their feelings aren't my concern, and that'd be a very childish derp way to react. In the end, it's a lose/lose situation for anyone who does that because they're just gonna get flamed followed by a locked thread.

Indeed; my thoughts exactly.
I don't like replying, because it looks like a bump.
Haven't replied to Pyrotechnic Stand for ages now.
The question is whether you're contributing to the thread or not. This is hit or miss.
If your post is "bump" or "+1" or "no" then it is spam.
If your post is "maybe you can do X" or "I like but want to see Y as well" or constructive information to include into a debate, it isn't.
It doesn't take much, but generally posters don't want plain support, but a conversation that keeps the topic active.

Nope. When this guide was first submitted, profanity actually was allowed here. You might not wanna be so quick to use the facepalm card.

Agreed. That's a god damn stupid idea.
