I bet you know that Creepers run away from Ocelots and Cats. But just that is... Not enough. We need more defenses against Creepers, but there should be limitations and more options. So, here I present,
Exploring the Relationship Between Cat and Creeper!
First of all, Cats.
Cats shouldn't protect you from Creepers forever. There should be limitations, and a logical explanation for it. So I think that while Creepers hate Cats, Cats should dislike Creepers too. The situation is that every domesticated cat has a "durability" that is depleted when it encounters Creepers. It will come back, but very slowly. So, my idea is that if you brave 5 Creepers with your Cat within 1 day, it will have a "look disgusted" animation then turn into a wild ocelot, and sprint away from you.
HAIRBALLS!
Hairballs will be dropped by Domesticated Cats, and ONLY tamed ones, for some weird reason. It will only drop 50% of the time. Four Hairballs crafted together would give a Hairblob. Hairblobs can be lobbed at Creepers. Once thrown, the Creeper will start to back away, but usually the Hairblob will hit and explode into a cloud of orange dust. This will make Creepers in range go into a "crazed" state and emit orange "hair" particles. When crazed, A Creeper will randomly run in different directions and forget about you.
When crazed, a Creeper will have special properties:
-It will sprint as fast as the player sprinting.
-It will explode if it comes in contact of any mob.
-It will explode if it hits a wall it cannot jump across.
-It will not acknowledge any hazards. (ex. It will run into lava pools without attempting to swerve clear)
This status will last for 5 seconds. When ended, the Creeper will not try to attack you until 5 more seconds later. So, it basically it will effectively stun a group of creepers trying to blow you up, earning you time to escape.
Next, Ocelot Disguise/Pelt Armor!
Ocelot Disguise is a set of armor designed to
1. Look like an adorable kitty
2. Block damage, its ARMOR, DUH!
3. Make Creepers think that something is suspicious about your outfit...
Yep! Creepers will suspect that you are related or simply is an Ocelot. But they won't run away, of course! That's too OP and they don't REALLY believe that you are 100% real Ocelot. They will just be a bit more shy. Let's see.
When wearing a full set of Pelt Armor, Creepers will be more wary. That means that they will not have footsteps, and they are more sneaky. But there are Pros too! When you swing your sword within a 3 block radius of a Creeper while wearing the Armor, The Creeper will dart away a few blocks even if they aren't hit. This "frightening" is really helpful because then you needn't worry about Creepers exploding when you close in to attack. But they learn - a Creeper will only back off 3 times, and act normally after that. But another feature of the Armor is that if you sprint full speed at a Creeper it will slowly backpedal at the speed of sneaking. This will work even after the Creeper's fear is "neutralized". Enjoy your Creeper hunting!
CRAFTING METHODS
By now, you'd probably be screaming to learn how to make this multi-purpose armor. So, let's learn the basics. How to make Pelt?
Seeds=Hairball Bread=Leather
That's it. Leather mixed with fur equals furry skin equals pelt. Simple. Then make the armor like Leather Armor, only with a slight difference to the Helmet/Hood. Look at this cute thing!
Sponge=Pelt
Those bits on top are ears!
Is this OP? No!!! Let's look at the reasons:
-Ocelots aren't exactly common, and you need loads of fish to breed and tame them. THEN there's only 50%
chance of getting Hairballs.
-You need loads of hair (88, I think) to make a full set.
-Quoting some random guy in the future: "I DON'T WANNA MASSACRE CUTE KITTIES JUST FOR ARMOR!"
Hairball sword sounds... weak? Maybe it has one use and doesn't deal any damage. Remember, its HAIR! It may have clotted together a bit, but still nontheless hair. But a Hairball Sword... Maybe you need to put 9 Hairballs together to make a Compressed Hairball and 9 Compressed Hairballs to make a Solid Hairball, which you use to make a sword and ca be used 10 times, and being able to craze Creepers.
Still doesn't make sense.
But still, Diamond Trophy to you for making a weird suggestion.
