There is a lot of space who is not use in art fill. I cant imagine that its so hard fill the texture painting file.
Think i have read something one year ago for asking to complet this task.
There is the MorePainting mod who is making this even, much more. But why add a mod when whole programming architecture is still in the game ? Jous t add some VAR and its ready.
Why no finish what still avaible , before adding new thing.
I think lot of texture maker would be happy, if whole art texture file would be completly usable.
Why is my English so fully broken? Notch mentioned that there might be support for adding personal painting files once the coding structure for books was created. Lo and behold, we are going to have books in the next patch, so sit patient.
And I'm telling you, although I admit I can't find the article or video, that one of the Mojang Developers stated they were interested in allowing people to make their own custom paintings they could display on a server (like a spray image in valve FPS games). They also stated that the coding that would allow for this was not ready yet, that they would have to first work on adding writable books and text files and see how that went. They are in the process of doing that now, so you can expect that in the near future they may turn their attention to paintings.

It isn't that hard when you know what you want it to look like. It's when you have no f**king clue that it's really hard.
