Everyone knows about the 2 golems in the game at the moment, for example the Snow golem (passive) and the iron golem (passive / aggressive). What about the aggressive golem? One that will attack the player on sight. These golems could be added in to protect strongholds and guard the end portal. once killed it wouldn't respawn. Just to add, yet another challenge to minecraft. And if created it would be loyal to the player that created it and would guard an area (50x50) around where it is made.
Despite the fact that so many golem threads come up, I actually respect this one, because it doesn't have the "guys guys we need a gold golem and obsidian golem and nether golem!!1" crap. A stronghold golem wouldn't be that bad, but 2 golems does seems enough for now, but that's just me.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.

Agreed, he does serve a valid argument though. A bulkier mob that provides a challenge seems fun.

You're not alone.

If I made the golem, I'd like it to not attack me. Like a guard dog for my house/chests in a multiplayer server!
Good idea, build on it!

So it's a mob that kills you?
Interesting...although golems in minecraft are player craft-able mobs.
So instead of a new golem, per-say, call it a new mob?

well yea a new mobnot like a mob that is small like the zombie, but something that is quite bulkey like the iron golem.
