Hi, first time poster, couldn't see 'mod store' anywhere on forums, so here goes. Is there a mod store, or could mojang make a mod store as a market for all mods currently available? I would pay money to be able to install mods without having to go through 20 steps to install them. They are often on dodgy websites, and I have 2 boys who play it quite often who bug me to help them install mods. Together, we've installed quite a few, but it's often frustrating when we can't get mods to work after half an hour. It could work like mobile app stores, ie. where creators would get a cut. I'd pay about $1-$2 for mods that were easy to install.
Hello, and welcome to the forums.
Mojang AB is currently working on adding a modding API. What this means is: You click on a button in-game, select a mod you'd like to install and Bingo!
Also, there are some mods that come with an installer. Furthermore, most mods are really easy to install.
Happy Minecrafting!
I will apreciate that if mods are free as now and ever. Maybe a list of mods in the mod API that is coming, and you download them directly. Same for texturepacks.
Agreed. And, as minecrafter said, theres a Mod API on the way.
