I reckon we should have like a mob for each world (Enderdragon = END ??? = Overworld ??? = Nether)

WE'LL IT AIN'T notch says that the red dragon would be a really rare mob for the overworld (Like spider jockey) now if your going to go hater GTFO *points at door*
So spread your creativity and tell us your boss mob ideas!
I feel like an overworld boss would just tear away at the game.
You'd spawn and instantly be screwed over by the boss floating around in your game.
However...if the boss's sanctuary was something like the stronghold found in a certain seed of minecraft that would be interesting.
Let me elaborate: every seed you create a temple/building/place in which the boss will be is positioned between blocks -2000 and 2000. Now, the boss could only stay in a certain radius of the palace/temple and not venture out, so it doesn't grief and kill you as you are relentlessly attacked by its massive power whilst spawning at your spawn location. The radius that the monster could stay in could be relatively large so he had home-court advantage. This could be the same in the nether.
As for the types of bosses, I don't want another dragon. Not that the dragons aren't cool, I just don't want one. Maybe an overworld giant *insert new mob name here*
Same thing for the nether. Maybe a "God" ghast that's huge and looks different. I don't know. This is my opinion, but great idea

I think there could be a Giant Ghast. It spawns near the portal when you enter the nether for the first time. It is pretty easy to beat, but it will respawn somewhere else in a certain radius and get 0.1x stronger in all aspects. It will do this five times before it is gone forever.
I don't know for the overworld. I think that there could be an enormous natural room at the bedrock layer which spawns randomly and houses a monster. It should be a bit easy. Perhaps a giant zombie?

just as you said a giant would be cool for mountain biomes but i think a fire lord would be more cooler than a god ghast i think
Maybe a Ghast king god etc. in the nether.
While in the over world a giant(Giant zombie) wouldn't be that hard to kill and it's easy for mojang to make.

The Gold Golem idea would work for the sandstone part in the pyramids.

Let's just leave bosses out of the Overworld. The Overworld is for starting out, so let's not ruin that with some sort of "boss".
