I'm all for two or three more golems, but not on the heels of the first two. The next golem can wait awhile and no, I'm not talking about a diamond or gold golem. Just because there's an Iron golem, doesn't mean every ore + obsidian needs a corresponding golem, though a golem created from a redstone block or torch in place of the pumpkin for an iron golem would be one of my ideas. (aka the Redstone controlled Golem some people, especially redstone freaks, want to see) The fourth golem idea I got is a neutrual stone golem, that can't be built, unlike the other three.

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
As much as I like golems and other magical things for minecraft your ideas are not ones I particularly like.
golems are magically powered automatons created for the sole purpose of aiding their creator. usually an Alchemist If they aren't practical don't post them.
P.S. the period goes at the end of a sentence
ehhh...... as much as I love golems, I wouldn't like to see this many different kinds, because then golems will be too overused and boring. However, I'd like to see a third golem that is weaker than an iron one, but can still attack unlike a snow golem (maybe a Brick Golem?)

I'm going to mash signature stuff together: I tested 100% positive for MC addiction, I'm a black knight, support crappy trees, my color is red, and microsoft destroys to a cactus.
People would also have been less likely to hate golems, if you people would actually be CREATIVE, and not just this
Example
Diamond Golem
Hearts - 150
Damage - 1 hit kill
Another example
Obsidian Golem
Heats - 200
Damage - 4 hearts
Special - It griefs you
You people are the death of an other wise good golem idea

Let me add more to my points.

Redstone Golem. Created the same way as an iron golem, except with a redstone torch/ block (if added) in place of the pumpkin.
Hearts: Same as Iron Golem
Damage: Same as Iron Golem
Special: It only follows a set redstone path and only works when it's activated. (Alternately, it could only be within 2-5 blocks of redstone wire at all times and will turn around or stop if it goes too far.) I'm not really sure about the specifics, but I'd prefer for it only going a set range before turning or deactivating. (like if a zombie is two blocks away, the golem would give chase, but only to it's limits.. What I'm trying to get at is idea c, the combination of a & b. Redstone golem follows path, until a mob is within it's range. (which would be within two to five blocks of redstone wire))
Golem #4 = unbuildable Stone Golem (weaker than Iron Golem and neutral). Cliche or not, I'd like to see one of these added in a later update, keyword being later, as in 1.6 or later, not 1.3 or 1.4. Alternately, a better projectile golem could be the fourth one. Also, the fourth or fifth one should be the last one in my book. As we don't need a crap ton of ores or dimensions, so should we not have a crap ton of golems just because. (i.e. Not simply Diamond Golems that are way stronger than Iron, but Golems that actually have a purpose beyond being more powerful or better allies to the player, though we could use a golem that actually stays near it's creator. Maybe, that could be golem #4 instead.)
Anyhow, this is probably too late, but everytime I see this is not Golemcraft or *insert not Mine thing here*, I think Vareide's song "My Favorite Things." Just because some of us want more Golems or Potions, doesn't mean we want Golemcraft or Potioncraft. I personally hope we get more golems and another dimension or two, but I don't exactly want them now. Let's get other stuff done first.
Whether it be Villagers that are actually useful (should of been in-game since 1.0 (FULL RELEASE) though) or the pre-fix mobs and bosses we were told about, that stuff needs to be done first. Another ore or few could follow. (more power to the mining aspect, eh?) Followed by the Skylands. (i.e. around 2.0 or so, 1.8 at the earliest) Oh, and along the way, more mobs would probably get added added, so the new golems wouldn't saturate the mobs and animals list too much. After that's all out of the way, we can go ahead and add Golem #3, possibly #4 an update or few later.
Edit: If it's to OP, maybe a repeater could be added, in place of the torch. I'd prefer a block, for more reasons than one (redstone storage for the redstone noob who can't stop finding it and aesthetics), but if we must, we could just do without.

When no one is agreeing with you, ask to propose more ideas! Yes! I'm down with this.
er, no
Diamond Golems might work. Wood and TNT Golems would likely break the game (especially the Wood ones).
Too bad, there are golems, deal with it
if you don't like them don't make them
Because we have the freedom (and the right) to do it?

Hearts - 150
Damage - 1 hit kill
