I'm not too fond of the feeling of the cross hairs staying on the back of my head in 3rd person. I suggest that in 3rd person, the cross hairs can move around the screen to interact. I also suggest being able to see the front of the character aswell. Would make for better screenshots.
Uh, the only problem I see with this is people building whilst looking the wrong way... perhaps the character should twist to the face the direction the camera is facing when you click. It would certainly be much better than it is now.
I think third person is only temporary? So it doesn't matter anyway?
It is a great feature for those who don't like the first person feel.
But it makes it impossible to sneak up on players now. I prefer first person, but I don't want my preferences to give me a handicap.
Besides, how could you possibly like this better? It decreases your view range, is harder to aim, and fills your view with your player.
Maybe, you could use the num keys as a secondary rotation tool?
noooooooo
I don't know how many people are like me, but I use a laptop most of (read "all") the time, so number pad would not be cool. How about arrow keys? or ijkl? or tfgh? or something like that.
Actually, I guess since i and f are in use, uhjk might work better. whatever, you know what I mean.

Who sits down and writes maniacle laughter?
adequate, not great. It would be great when we can have the object behind us and take a picture of our front and the project. And possibly pose?
:sad.gif: I do too
