To make the cats smarter, I think that cats should have better AI.For example, hold out a piece of string towards any nearby tame cats will cause them to jump around and putting a wool block will cause the cats to come scratch it, also put cats near dogs will make them hiss.
^You're always so confrontational.
When someone says "dog" in reference to a Minecraft mob, it's obvious they're referring to a tame wolf. Everyone understands that, so it's a non-issue.
I think it would be funny for cats to ride tamed wolves (not hiss at the tamed wolves and they still scare off creepers) but one stereotype that might be fun is cats having the ability to climb logs without the need of vines or ladders.
The string idea would be fun, but the wool seems a bit odd to me. Here are some of my own ideas:
-When a creeper approaches a cat, the cat will hiss and arch it's back.
-Cats will follow you when you hold a bucket of milk or cooked chicken (Like other animals, but sometimes pausing to look around).

That's not really a stereotype, cats just have the right balance and agility to climb trees and other objects.

^WTH I don't even care.
When someone says 'dog' in reference to a Minecraft mob, I know it's obvious they're referring to a tame wolf. I understand that, but it just bugs me that people are going to be lazy and refer to a Mob that doesn't - but should- exist.

Heheh.
No offence, but... fail no. two. It's wolves, as the end letter is an f, like staves, dwarves and warves.
I also think that tigers should be added in the game at the jungle biome and you must tame it with a stack of raw pork chop, beef and chicken, then the tiger would be tamed which can be used as a trusty steady when right click with a saddle.Just think about it, riding a tiger which will attack mobs and can leap a 8 block gap.

Ok, I admit that.
