You know whats gonna be in 1.3, right? Well how about changeable gravity!
When you start the world there will be 5 gravity settings: Low, mini, high, mega, and normal gravity.
For low gravity, your hunger depletes at half speed and you can jump 3 blocks into the air. For mini, your hunger does not deplete and you can jump 8 blocks in the air. For high gravity, your hunger depletes at 1.25 , of the regular, you move at 3/4 speed, and jumping takes hunger. For mega, jumping takes as much hunger as regular-world sprinting (and you can't sprint in mega). Also, food depletes at 1.5, and walking is at half speed, with a reduced inventory.bump

A hunter who chases two rabbits will catch neither
Gravity is a bad idea. Not only would it lag severely, but multiplayer would be a crisis zone of randomly bouncing mobs and players.
Definitely a mod idea.

I was referring to the jumping super high/drifting slowly down part, and that's mostly on servers as well. Jumping in Minecraft currently isn't laggy. But, well, have you ever stepped on a Roblox trampoline? That's kind of what I mean.

Would affect minecraft badly.
(Not usable in multiplayer, Unless the server settings has MC cheats=1
Dev consoles are always fun to **** around in.
I agree, but it would be good for a mod.
Definitely a mod idea.

Lag?
Jumping in minecraft isn't that laggy.
