I was thinking along with achievments we should have efficiencys with tools and weapons. Kind of like a rpg type of thing. Which would be cool with people that do alot of digging ( you would get better digging stats) which would make it fater to dig what do you all think
I don't think this should be added to the game wholesale. It's nice to have McMMO around sometimes for a bit of fun, but when it really comes down to the nitty gritty, the basics are always better because they're what people really like.

ya i figured it might be cool b/c the enchantments systemis bogus
The enchantment system isn't bogus. People just dislike it because it's random. i'm pretty sure it was made that way so people couldn't become overpowered by just making a ton of the same powerful tool or weapon.
i don't think minecraft was ever ment to have skills, but just rely on the skill of the player.
other games like runescape were ment to have things like attack, defence, woodcutting and mining mining but minecraft was not.
