Hey! I have had lots of ideas for Minecraft over the time I've been playing it (more often during late beta/Minecraft full) so i decided to bombard you all with them all at once, and hope that people like the ideas
1. Setapies (similar to horses) (READ FIRST, DON'T GET MAD :/)
Yes, yes, yes. I know everyone suggests horses. I'm not actually suggesting them, though, so chill out XD However, maybe add some mythical race that function like horses but look MUCH different and have special features.
Lets refer to them as Setapies (Set-a-Peez) for plural or Setapi (Set-a-Pie) for singular. (Lol, theres a 10 second name made up name for ya). I absolutely suggest NOT calling these that name for the final product, but i couldn't be bothered to say "The horse like creatures" all the time.
All Setapies have 12 hearts, 2 more then a regular Steve.
Let's say these "Setapies" are divided into sub-races. I can't be bothered thinking up anymore dumb names ATM, so let's point out their differences by colour.
Blue Setapies: Blue Setapies would have the same skin as all the others, except they are blue and have different abilities. Let's say because they are blue, that their ability is "Water Trap". This can be activated for 5 XP (like all other Setapi) and when ridden into water, mobs (both hostile and other) that are within a 6 block radius of them take 4 points (2 hearts) damage for 4 seconds. This ability lasts for 10 seconds, and takes 30 seconds to recharge.
Red Setapies: Red Setapies would have the same skin as all the others, except they are red and have different abilities. Let's say because they are red, their ability is "Fire Heal". This can be activated for 5 XP (like all other Setapies) and when ridden into fire or lava, the Setapi is healed for 1 heart per sec for 20 secs. Other mobs that ride into the fire/lava take damage/no damage as they usually would.
Yellow/Orange Setapies: Yellowy orange Setapies would have the same skin as all the others... (oh god, it's pointless repeating this eh? Let's just get to the point). Their ability is Sun's Fury, Where for 30 secs, every other mob that isn't directly touching the Setapi takes 1 heart damage every 2 secs.
Other Setapies: You kinda get the point now, so i wont bother making up new ones yet.
Setapies can be equiped with human armour, although it would change form to fit it's body.
Setapies can be ridden with a saddle, and controlled if you feed it glowstone (a treat which it loves). It can be controlled for 10 minecraft days, or until the player gets off (only if it's been longer than 10 minecraft days, otherwise it will still be able to be controlled. Alternatively, you can feed it a pile of 64 Torches (another food that it likes due to the light it admits) however, after 1 minecraft day its tummy will start to hurt and it will buck you off, no matter whether your still mounted or not.
2. New ores!
Another suggestion is for new ores! If you've plaed a game like terraria, you'd have notice that there are ALOT more ores, therefore alot for items in the game. This should be brought to minecraft, so that the game is more entertaining and lasts people longer before they get to the stage where they play it every now and again to see the new content added.
Copper: Copper would be found near the surface around the point where iron starts spawning, but rarely spawns further underground. Therefore, it is hard to get this ore if you go digging for caves, unless you find a surface cave or come across the ore underground by itself (no cave). The ore is a brownish reddish colour (along with the ingots), and is very common (more than iron), and sometimes can be found in holes where there is no dirt just stone at the bottom (similar to a cavern but its just a small dud and its all exposed to light). Copper has more durability than stone, but less than iron. It can mine stone, copper, iron and tin. It is the only one of the new ores that can be mined by stone picks.
Tin: Tin can be found under the exact same circumstances as copper, and is a greyish colour. When smelted into ingots, it can't be made into tools or armour, but can be made into a tin can (can carry water and then drink it for 1 heart healing), and some other tin items. When put in a crafting station next to copper (any row, but must be horizontally), it creates Un-smelted bronze. When this is put into a furnace, it creates a Bronze ingot.
Bronze: Bronze lasts a little longer than iron for durability and can mine everything copper can, plus gold. The only advantage this has over iron is that it lasts a little more uses, but not many (about 10). So it all comes down to what you find first: Copper and tin, or iron. (Note that copper and tin are more common near the surface of the world, but are rare deep down.
Silver: For durability, silver sits about 20 uses below iron but above copper. Silver swords deal extra damage to undead (zombies and skeletons) but normal uses to others. It can mine Silver, Iron, Gold, Diamonds, and everything below itself.
Rubies, Emeralds, Amethysts, Sapphires and others: These ores CAN be made into tools and armour, but sit between iron and diamonds for durability. They can be made into rings and necklaces, which can be enchanted for the same stats as armour. rings are equipped in a new hand slot (also, a gauntlet/glove variant of each tier of armour could be added too that has same stats as boots). Necklaces go in the Helmet slot, therefore it comes to a personal decision whether you want to wear gauntlets, or helmets into battle with your shiny chest plate, boots and leggings.
Also, if these items are added, they wont seem Terraria-like. They would act like and feel like Minecraft tools, so players don't feel like they're playing a 3D terraria clone.
That's all for now, although i might edit this topic later if i come up with more ideas. Enjoy and please post a comment and vote in the poll Also white Setapies could be added and have flight as their bonus as they look like normal setapies but with wings!

its ENDERmen not ELDERmen, are you purposely trying to get mojang in yet another law suit with Bethesda?? god

OMG! Sparkly Diamonds all the way across the mine!
Setapies? It doesn't really fit in the Minecraft world. Maybe in a different dimension.
And the new ore ideas you got there have already been suggested. It has been suggested more times than I breathe every year.

The mining you had isn't complex, but rather the opposite. Jeb said he wouldn't add more ores just because he can. All those ore just make tools/armor that are little stronger or a little weaker than iron. They need more uses. Maybe you can place a gem on to a tool to make it more enchantable? But I'd say have at least 5 non-tool/armor uses for any new ore.
Yeah, this is NOT Wishlist!
Most of the ideas are good but setapies?
Actually:
Do not post more than one suggestion per thread. Very closely related suggestions are fine, but seperate suggestions require separate threads. "Wishlists" will be closed or deleted.
Unless these centipede whatcha'macallits can crap Copper, Tin, Bronze, Silver, Rubies, Emeralds, Amethysts, and Sapphires, I say there is no relation at all to the them. Wishlist. Besides, this is an overused concept people try to suggest.
Do not post redundant suggestions. If it has been suggested in the past (without significant differences) the thread will be closed.
We don't need any more ores/tools/armor. We're playing a game, not having a scavenger hunt. We don't need double the amount of ores, armor, and tools. That would take up too much texture space under the current system.

being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Please, only one suggestion per topic unless they are related (and horse-things and ores are not)
Also, please refrain from making redundant suggestions (i.e the ores). Most of those have been suggested in the past numerous times. Add on to those threads instead of making a new thread.

There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.
